Moral of the Story: The House of The Mouse Will Never Die · 10:06pm Apr 15th, 2016

Zootopia. Or as it's strangely known as in Britain for no apparent reason, Zootropolis.

I still don't know why the name is different here, but I can live with it.
Anyway, I think this was Disney's 55th movie in their 'classics' line-up and I have to say, I can see why people are calling it an instant classic. Disney movies have always had that special ability to wriggle their way into our hearts no matter the age group.

So it's no surprise that a buddy cop comedy-adventure film with anthropomorphic animal characters with very human-like tendencies living in an incredible world, but also containing a deeper meaning portraying our world today that it wears proudly on its sleeve, is successful.
And when I say successful, I mean this movie has made billions. I think its nearly even beaten Frozen in box office earnings and it was supposedly more successful than Batman V Superman, one of the most hotly anticipated films of this year.

But I digress, it is a lovely movie with engaging characters, beautifully detailed scenes, an intriguing plot and the whole new world of Zootopia to explore.

It's another place I'll have to add to my list of fictional places I'd want to visit, already including Republic City, the Pokemon world and the Star Wars universe. Maybe one day someone will event a machine that can send us through the multiverse to one of these places, we can olnly dream.

And one more thing: Yes, I ship Nick and Judy.
No, that does not make me or anyone else who ships characters from this movie furry's. Nor does liking the film make us furry's.
