My Current Situation · 12:06am Apr 14th, 2016
Lately I've been going through a really hard time.
Around November my mom and I got bed bugs which caused us to have to get rid of most of our furniture, clothes, and other items, including our beds. So we've been sleeping on the counches in the living room as those are the only two pieces of furniture we had left from the incident and haven't been able to afford new beds.
Then, I ended up hitting my head really hard a few weeks ago. I even heard something kind of go crack. But I knew we couldn't afford a doctor's visit so I spent a few weeks resting and just hoping my head would heal, which thankfully it did, but I really wasn't able to work at that time which effected us financially.
Then my mom fell at work last week and fractured/ broke her shoulder bone and two wrist bones. She also hit her head. Fortunately workman's compensation covered the hospital costs but she won't be able to work for about a month because of her injuries and both of our money is kind of how things get paid.
Because of my injury last month, we were behind on the rent and we got an eviction notice with promise to pay put on the door of our apartment. We were able to pay the rent by some miracle this month, but because of my mom's condition, I have no idea how we are going to pay next month's rent.
On top of everything else, some money we were receiving from a court order got taken from us because of an estranged family member, so now that form of income is gone and things are looking pretty bad here.
But anyway, that's kind of what is going on here. Just send positive thoughts our way and pray that we can find a way to pay the rent and my mom's injuries will heal. That would be very much appreciated.
*sigh* rents a bitch and so is life but when life hands yah lemons yah take em, and squeeze em into life's eyes!

It's astonishing how much you've been through, and yet you're still standing. I give major amounts of respect for that. Have you ever thought about starting a GoFundMe or a Patreon to help with the bills and such?
