First off I want to thank everyone who enjoyed reading 'Who Knew?' Seriously, when I wrote it I had no idea it would be nearly as successful as it was. Sure I kinda hoped it would be featured, then again what fanfic writer doesn't want their work recognized, but this was different. This is the single most successful thing I have written in my life. If I am capable of replicating the popularity of 'Who Knew?' with even one other fic that I write, I will consider my fanfic writing career complete. Though I am not sure if that will ever happen due to one other issue I have had.
You see this is the third fandom I have written fics for. The first was Digimon, where my name comes from. The second was Warhammer 40,000, still planning on writing a crossover fic one of these days. However every time I try and write any fic beyond a one shot, it never gets complete. I have left a few such incomplete fics in past fandom's and I had thought my first multi-chapter pony fic 'What is a Fluttershy' would end up in that pile. Along with any other multi-chapter pony fic I try and undertake.
However for once hope looms on the horizon. After spending several months having hit a proverbial brick wall with Chapter 5 of WiaF, I hit inspiration. I am actually making a good deal of progress with it, even better this is the second to last chapter. Even more so I have had the epilogue planned for quite some time, so once chapter 5 is done I can get straight to writing the epilogue. For the very first time in my fanfic writing career, the completion of multi-chapter fic is within sight.
If everything goes well WiaF should be complete in a month or two. I hope.
