My life in a nutshell, aka why Moonlight Harvest was on hold so long

I know the story was charging right along for a while there, and then I suddenly went quiet. Here's the basic gist of it: When I first started writing Moonlight Harvest, I had a great job making $11.25/hr and carpooling an hour each way, which means I had a good two hours every weekday to sit and do whatever I felt like. Thus, I was able to just write and write and write.
On December 23rd, I was fired over someone else's mistake that occurred on the 21st. Not only did they not give me the chance to explain it wasn't my fault, they let me work two more days thinking everything was okay. So there I was, unemployed for Christmas, scrambling to find a job when everyone was cutting hours and laying off, opening credit cards and loans to keep the bills paid.... I finally found a job March 2nd, where I sometimes have enough downtime to work on the story, so progress IS being made.

Also i fucking love this app. I can wallpaper it x3
Bad news is, I don't get many hours at this job, and me, my wife, and two kids are now living in a camper, and STILL can't afford to pay the bills, because now I've got all these credit cards to pay off. I've put in applications to some substantially better jobs, so hopefully one of those will pan out, but until then, I can promise that I'm trying to write when I can, but it's gonna be slow for an indeterminate length of time.
