What's going on with me, for anyone who cares. · 10:45am Mar 29th, 2016
Heeeeeeyo. So first, I have a new chapter to The Wayfarers coming soon. Like, really soon. Like, today soon. It's not as long as the last few, but I'm going to try and make up for that. Now, some news on me for any who care to here it.
So yes, production of The Wayfarers has been slowed a bit. I say SLOWED, not stopped. This past month and a half I've found myself wedging between two large projects. One of them is a show I'm in. It's a stage production my collage is putting on. The reasons we this has been taking up so much of my time is because I play one of two leads. Yeah, lucky me... I guess. Show week is the first week of April, so that will be out of the way soon. The second project is a novel I'm working on. Yes, a novel. Meh. It's not taking up nearly as much time and emotional energy as the show, but it is at the forefront of my creative attention.
THAT SAID, things should be speeding up soon. Why? Because I'm in my second to last semester in community collage. The last semester will be a quick summer term, and then I'll have my associates. What does that mean? Well, that means whatever time I don't spend at work, I'm going to spend writing. Actually, writing is going to be my main focus when I graduate. I don't have the money to pursue a higher education yet, so I need to save. But not only that, I want to give my writing career the attention it deserves. That means extra work on my novel, and extra work on The Wayfarers to help sharpen my skills. I'll even be moving out on my own, so I'll have a quiet place to work (or I should).
What I would like to see from myself is at least two chapters a month in The Wayfarers, both around 3k to 4k. That isn't a promise to anything, but more of a goal. Things picking up in my life, and I'm trying to make sure the same things happens for my writing. (also, I'm going to try and rewrite/edit earlier chapter for typos)
So, a big thanks to anyone still following the story! I'm working hard to make this story something worth reading!

So I just remembered when I reviewed the story last month I said I'd send you the list I made from my notes in a PM.
Then, I didn't do that.
Whoops.
Hopefully I still have that in my notes app at home. Might speed things up a bit. I'll send it if I can find it, if you'd like.
