The Season Six Premiere: my opinion of it. and my theories. WARNING SPOILERS. Duh. · 2:15pm Mar 27th, 2016

Alright, I don't normally blog, but this is a special occasion. It's mah birfday! Anyway. I saw Season Six Premiere yesterday, and while it had its ups and downs, I really liked it. But I did have a few....nitpicks at it.

1. When was it ever stated that Starlight Glimmer would be Twilight Sparkle's student in the Season Five Finale? All Twilight said was that she could start learning how to make friends, not, "Oh hey I see you are powerful! Why not be my own student and not a more experienced teacher like Celestia or Luna?" I found this rather eh. More like an excuse and a side plot to keep the viewers entertained by the idea of YET ANOTHER POSSIBLE ALICORN!! :facehoof: Honestly, I really hope they don't pull that on Starlight, like they did Twilight. It goes to show, you don't need to be an alicorn to be super powerful, and Starlight HAS SHOWN to be able to kick Twilight's ass at magic. THE ELEMENT OF MAGIC. WHO IS A FREAKING ALICORN. And a UNICORN with a grudge was able to beat her. GG Twilight. Go back to Magic Kindergarten.

Side note. While I was surprised about the whole student Starlight Glimmer, and got pissed about it, I can work it into my story quite easily thank god.

2. That...thing. Yes I am talking about that oversize winged magic ass blasting little shit that I wanted to hate, but couldn't. Why....WHY?! Why do you HAVE to keep destroying so many headcanons? And WHY is that thing able to overpower two celestial beings? And what PURPOSE does she have after she grows up? She is a princess by default because of her birth! NOT EVERY PRINCESS NEEDS TO BE AN ALICORN! And to note, what would that made Cadence? She is a princess, but I would think it should make her to Queen, or Empress now, because of her foal. And they don't even register Shining armor as Prince or Lord. He is just...Shining Armor to his subjects. That pissed me off. Shining Armor deserves more recognition than that. And to any true monarchy, having the OBVIOUS husband of the PRINCESS of the Empire, should at least gain him a title. Not just Captain of the Royal Guard. Ugh.

Anyway. I wasn't happy about that baby. I don't like her. Flurry Heart.. Single-hoofedly, Flurry Heart was able to shatter an ancient relic, and cause massive chaos and destruction, and while the writers thought it might be amusing to have a baby with that kind of destruction power, they obviously didn't think what would happen in the long run when she was older, and learning magic. She clearly is more powerful than an ascended alicorn, not to mention, four combined, but despite her adorable little face, I still want to rip it off. She was a bad idea from the start. An unplanned disaster. Much like her conception.

3. Celestia and Luna's new info on them. To me, I felt them admitting they weren't born alicorns a little saddening. I was hoping that they would give a time frame or something, but nope. They said "never in Equestria." pause the button there. Now let's think about it. Where did Celestia and Luna come from? Part of me now wonders if they came from another land, that was actually filled with Alicorns. Then something happened to diminish their population. And to escape their fates, Celestia and Luna traveled to Equestria, and they became royalty because of their abilities. I mean, it sounds far fetched, but Celestia and Luna are the only two with knowledge of how to MAKE alicorns. And saying they have NEVER saw it in EQUESTRIA means they might have seen it before, but it was so long ago (Give or take a few thousand years) that they might not have remembered the danger an alicorn foal was, and having no experience, they were unprepared. They are possibly..POSSIBLY foreigners, and have been making Equestria their home for thousands of years, simply because they didn't want their race to die out. So it IS possible they were born alicorns, it may not have been. No one truly knows how Celestia and Luna grew up, and it's all fandom headcanons. So just because the show likes to slap our ideas and say "NO!" doesn't mean you can't find a way around it. If anything, this information narrowed down Celestia and Luna's mysterious past.

Also, I am angry that They didn't use Cadence with her shield. I don't even want to hear, "Oh she was babied out!" That pink princess with a crystal heart on her butt spent WEEKS holding the EXACT SAME KIND OF STORM on her OWN. She could have let Celestia and Luna help Twilight, or at least detain the baby, while she used her magic of LIGHT and LOVE to hold off the storm. And I was really hoping for some Wendigos. It made sense if the storm had a 'mind of its own' if there was beings behind it. Beings who have shown to make dark snow storms and caused anger and distress for their own amusement? Anyway, trying to make Celestia and Luna actually look like they were doing something, made them look weaker than what I had liked. Bleh.

4. Sunburst. Omfg I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE Sunburst he is my new mlp love interest and I am totes shipping him with one of my OCs. Deal with it. I am not the only one. So expect a sweet romance story to pop up any day now. Or whenever I can muster the will to work on it.

And with that, I have given you my opinions on the Season Six premiere. I liked it. Sunburst made it all worth it to me. (adorable little EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!) Ahem...anyway, I hate that baby, I have new theories on Celestia and Luna's origin, and I have me a new husbu material. That is all! Thanks for reading!
