S6 Thoughts and New Fic(?)

So first off, Season 6 Premiered today. I honestly forgot about it but a friend hooked me up with a stream the minute I woke up, lol.

I always wanted to see how the second reformation of a villian would go, this one actually being sane. So this was a fun episode to watch. OBviously, below will be spoilers, so hover over dem black lines if you want a peek. If not, scroll by.

So, seeing how fucking big that small tree is kinda shattered my idea of how the castle looked. At the same time, reflects the multi corridor style of the Crystal Empire's castle. From the peeks we saw in other episodes and the movies, it is pretty massive and looks like a maze. Which, believe it or not, are how castles/mansions are like and take years to fully understand how it works. It also made me giggle at the small struggle of Starlight. It's a small thing, but I liked the touch of seeing how big of a castle Twilight actually lives in.

Secondly, we see the best pone in all it's glory. No, not the purple alicorn thing, I mean the lists! In all seriousness, I love Twilight's obsessive nature and how everything has to be perfectly organized....and how it is super abnormal to everyone else. Come on Twi, you cray cray. It also shows that Twilight is the type of teacher I don't want. At least for now. We'll get into the rest later.

Next, we learn about the circle of life and that ponies indeed do have sex to reproduce...okay I wish but in all reality Twilight just screamed she was an aunt. Yeah. Boring right? She also revealed a meeting with that one freind character of Starlight's character we got a glimpse of in S5's finale. So here comes a new character in the series that will be mentioned maybe once more but will string hundreds of clop fics between them. Got to love this fandoms dirty minds, right?

So, after listening to her obvious concerns, we also get to see that Spike has traded sides! He is now Starlight's bitch assistant for this season it seems. Heading into the Crystal Empire now, we see typical Dad Shining Armour. A.K.A Mr. Needs40cuposofcoffeplzhalp. Seriously Hasbro, you make me dread being a father someday than what is already instilled in most males.

After sending Starlight and Spike to meet with Sunburst, we get to see the babe! And Cadence walking around roughly a a few hours after having said babe. I give her fucking props if she can walk after having to squeeze a football with a spike in it's skull out of her vagina. But come on Hasbro. Okay, it's probably been a few days, but they presented it in the beginning as if it was getting ready to happen and JUST happened when they got the invite. And assuming that it doesn't take more than 3 hours to get to the Empire by train, Cadence should be in bed or a wheel chair.

So we meet the FIRST alicorn baby, proving that Celestia and Luna are 1000 year old virgins, and see that she has more wing control at 5 hours old than Twilight had her first 5 months of sporting appendages. Fast forwarding to Starlight, She was able to play the low blow at Spike's pride and spent roughly an hour of watching him tell his "tales" to his "fans" After which he bucked up and started back on track.

We now meet the great and powerful bookworm wizard Sunburst! Who looks like he hasn't left the house in days... Short story, the two avoid each other until Spike forces them into the same room with each other.

Since I am taking up a bunch of space, I will sum up the rest: Thinking Pinkie as her mother (they lose memories after a few moments until a few months old. Psychology bitches), Flurry Heart throws a fit and destroys the crystal heart, sending in a wave of extreme storms that pretty much makes the Empire a pony version of The Day After Tomorrow. While the princess sisters-with-benefits battle the weather, Cadence and Twilight go to the library to find a cure while Pinkie and Shining play catch the babe. Starlight and Spike come back in time to see the cure get destroyed then go back to get Sunburst who they think can help.

After the two share their past and reunite, they take Starburst back to find out that they need to combine the relic restoration spell, the Crystalling Ceremony, and a spell to calm Flurry's tits to fix everything. In the end, everything is fixed and Starburst becomes a Royal Crystal-thingy. idk, odd customs. He also gets a spot as an important wizard for the Empire. Cool beans right?

It sets up an interesting start to the season, but can also act as a bar for other episodes to hit. We will see just how well the season goes and if we see Starlight become the new main character aside from Twilight. At this point she seems to be a new unicorn to replace Twilight who is now royal butt.

Now that I shared my thoughts about the premiere, time to get to the second bit: The new possible fic.

Since work is boring, I let my mind wander to an idea I am excited to write and will probably do next chance. It more or less is a Starlight and Twilight fic with a bit of the meet the Robertsons. The point of that movie is that the kid went back in time to see his mother abandon him and was given the option to meet her or leave. This is something similar. It started out as an idea of if Twilight is Celestia's actual daughter, that means Starlight (who more or less got adopted by feels feeling Twiely in S5 finale) would be a royal as well. It went from that to the similar names and patterns in their mane and color pallete. I won't spoil too much, but time shenanigans will ensue and I will have fun. Do I expect to hit FB? Nah. But we will see how popular it gets.
