So the last couple of weeks have been really bad for writing for me. not because I've been busy or uninspired though. quite the opposite, over the last fortnight i have had a persistent idea for the next chapter of WMHB but I haven't actually gotten around to typing it out for a number of reasons. first is the fact that i lost my job as a science teacher and not a week later had an interview for another job as a tech support guy. talk about a stress roller coaster. good news is I got the job and it pays loads more than the one i had previously.

The bad news is that I will also be working 8 ours a day so my ability to devote time to ponies may be quite reduced. Oh well, at least I'll be able to afford food now. also one of my fiends loaned be the game-cube game 'skies of arcadia' so that has basically eaten up most of my free time of late. I'm nearly through with it though so it won't be a distraction for much longer.

Por fin, I am also about to leave to hang out with my folks for the next week so my ability to write will obviously be cut down dramatically. I can't promise anything but I'll try to get a start on chapter 6 during my time away. on the bright side though, I might just lose enough sanity to do the Columbia River Cross Channel Swim with my mom and brothers. 1.1 miles of unadulterated pacific northwestern river sounds lovely, don't you think?

Any way that's the rundown on why I've been slow and for a while will continue to be slow on WMHB. I assure you that I will get to hammering out the next chapter as soon a possible, but don't hold you breath. In the mean time I'm gonna be sitting on the porch of my parents house sipping wine and watching the sunset for the next week so maybe you guys can forgive me because of that. Catch y'all later!
