Oh look, it turns out I can write blogs here... this should be... interesting... Anyway, I just wanted to write this to confirm a few things. One, yes, I've written the first chapter for a sequel to "Confidence" When it will be out, I'm not too sure, as I don't want to make the same mistakes I made with "Confidence" - also known as not proofreading my work properly, though, in my defense, is due to my dyslexia and being rusty as hell at writing.
Anyone might have noticed that fic has been edited quite a few times now. A lot of that has to do with me being a complete perfectionist. Full disclosure here, I actually that fic ahead of time, because I realized that I had to get it out there. If I didn't I was going to obsess over it, making sure every little detail was just right.
Which brings me neatly to my next point. I need to find an editor and I mean a really good one, razor eyed, with the ability to spot a typo or spelling error within two miles radius. A complete and utter punctuation/grammar nazi. So this is sort of a request, if anyone reading this blog can give suggestions or recommendations, or even put themselves forward, then that would be swell. I would like to start trying to submit to ED if possible, but how strict they are - to a fault if I'm honest :/
Of course that person would be credited. Writing it, it not my problem (most of the time) editing it, that's the tricky part.

in follow up, i'm a very picky reader. i might like a lot of things but it takes a lot for me to laud or recommend anything. i am quite strict on sentence structure, characterization, grammar, etc, etc and I've always wanted to edit for someone.
can you at least give me a shot?

i'd actually be happy to help out man. you send me whatever you need and tell me any thing i might need to know going in. i'll also need some time to read your story up until then. to get a feel of your writing style and maybe that'll better inform myself on helping you. be warned i am fairly inexperienced, to be honest but i'll do my best
