Hey all, got another progress report to talk about, let's do this.
As of this writing, I have recently completed chapter 25 of Pony Age, as well as two chapters of a new pony project I'm working on called "Pinkie Pie's Wonderful Flying Machine." This second project will be a steampunk adventure involving airships, technology, intrigue, and my first foray into shipping. Stay tuned to that project if any of that interests you.
Now I know I haven't been consistent with my updates, and I apologize for this. To understand how I go about things, I'll explain the creation, editing, and upload process. Obviously, first I write the chapter, then go through it myself. Then I go hoof over the chapter to two editors who know Dragon Age well, and they go through it checking for errors, streamlining sentences and such. Then I send it off to a very reliable ponychan reviewer who is not familiar with Dragon Age to catch any final errors and any inconsistencies new readers to the world of Dragon Age may get lost on. As long as the story goes through two of three people, I feel confident to release the chapter to EQD and Fimfiction.
The problem? Both my editors as of this writing are indisposed to personal reasons. While this does make me antsy to release the chapters, I must respect that they are devoting time to my fic at their own cost, and that I must give all the readers the best possible product I can make. In any event, if anypony is interested in pre-reading and editing Pony Age, drop me a line. All are welcome, whether they know the subject material or not.
Now onto some future news. I would very much like to continue with Awakening, and have come up with an interim dramatis personae for it. Without further ado, here it is:
Twilight Sparkle as The Warden
Lyra as Anders
Oghren as himself.
Justice as itself.
Sigrun to be a currently unnamed Diamond Dog.
Berry Punch as Nathaniel Howe
Velanna is currently unknown.
