[Explicit] Hey Leo. What've You Been Doin' These Last Few Days? · 10:54am Mar 19th, 2016
I've stopped lying to myself.
A long time ago, I wanted to recreate the main theme to my video game project. I wound up with a lot of good ideas, all of which I tried to incorporate. And for that long time, I continued to work on the music in piecemeal, adding in little snippets and removing others.
Eventually I came to an impasse. I reached a point where one section (three, actually) could not get better than it was. As a result of that, the sections preceding that one (three) sounded awful. For a moment, I debated keeping it all together as a psuedo-adventure in my own experience of making music: start out hopeful and loud, bring in things I don't know how to use, fall back on some things that worked, then start again with something that was actually good.
Then I said "screw it, cut out the bullshit."
I went in FLS, I scrapped the sections that led up to the good parts, I arranged the drive and hit a little, and ended up with something I actually enjoy - without having to sit through the junk'n dump'ns. I'm certain that I won't make any further headway with what I have now, so here's what I've got. Legacy Trials - the 2016 revision to Serious Trials.
In particular, this build is the No-Bullshit-Mode.
Welp. That's that. Back to pony work.

P.S.: Oh yeah, I've also rebranded my group name. iPIMP Studios is now Nemean Studios because I'm not a grade-schooler anymore.
