So you know how I read a lot of fanfiction? And how everything that I thumbs-up gets put into my 'Liked Stories' bookshelf?
...
I JUST HIT 3000 BABY!
Seriously, 3000 fics in my bookshelf. I do have to re-read a few of them to get caught back up, but still... THREE THOUSAND FANFICS!
I feel like I should feel like I read way to much of this shit. I don't feel like I read too much fanfiction, but I probably should.
Still though... 3000!

I've got 5000+
On the planned reading list. I have 11 on faves and abaut 23 000 on the awaiting list.
3812267 I do have to ask though, how many of those 5000+ are longer than 30k words?
Because at least a third of my 3000 are longer than 30k.

3812270 Babut 40% of them are 5000 words. But I still have that 23 000 in the backyard, so I'll be propably still reading it in the grave...
3812271 I just did a quick look at my bookshelf in order of word count.
300 pages of fics, the first 40 pages are >100k words long, the first 80 pages are >50k words long, the first 114 pages are >30k words long, and the first 156 pages are >15k words long.
The longest fic I have read is 970,556 words long.
EDIT: The first 22 pages of fics are >150k words long.

3812273 Dayuum, the logngest one I read was 383,835 words and still was a biatch to grind down. One of my first reads was not by much shorter and I prefer 100 000 - 200 000 word count.
A big part of my prepared stuff are short fics under 3000. At least that is easy.
3812297 Generally, I like longer fics, but my favorite length is 70k-150k. Longer than 150k and it starts to get tedious, but shorter than 70k and it goes by too quickly. As for chapter length, I like my chapters about 5k-9k words long, because longer than 9k is too long to read on a break at work, but shorter than 5k is once again too quick to go by.

3812298 I have the same tastes.
