Bad News, Good News, And New That Might Be Good Or Bad, Depending On How It Goes · 3:42am Mar 13th, 2016
Bad news: I'm on vacation for Spring Break. Now, this is good news for me, since I get to visit my brother, sister in law, and two nieces, but it's bad for y'all because it means that I haven't really been writing. Sorry about the long wait. And the long waits in general.
Good news: He heads home tomorrow, and we're going to work really hard on the plane ride back and on the day after that to finish up the next chapter of A Heart Eclipsed. Should be out in a few days.
Now for the mixed news. Some of you may recall a certain blog-post where I said that I wouldn't start on any more stories while I was working on this one. Well...
He lied.
Hey! I was serious at the time! Besides, i have a good reason for starting this story up now!
Yeah yeah. Basically, he's starting another displaced fic in which he wants Sora to appear for a crossover chapter. However, you have his word, with me enforcing it, that his primary focus will remain on A Heart Eclipsed, with only enough focus being given to this new story to keep it from dying.
This second displaced fic will be easier to keep afloat since I'll be opening it up a LOT more to crossovers early on, especially since Angel really wants to find a way to get home. The second half will shy away from crossovers a bit, but by that time I'll hopefully have gotten a LOT further in A Heart Eclipsed and start publishing crossover chapters that I've already written with other displaced authors.
Heck, even the crossover chapter with this new story will take place in the future of A Heart Eclipsed, though we're not sure when in the new story that particular crossover will take place. I guess we'll see.
So, about this story. It will be an Angel Beats crossover featuring Kanade Tachibana (aka, Angel). Her main goal will be to find a way home before the story takes a decidedly darker turn. Should be fun!
The first few chapters of that story should be up in the next month or so, once we get the first few chapters written.
