Followers sounds demeaning

So, my 13 followers... Wow I don't really know where I'm going with this. Thanks for thinking that I'm special enough to be followed I guess? I mean I really am flattered, it's just that saying thanks to a dozen or so people is really weird for me. I feel like saying that last sentence negated the sincerity of my thanks.
