A Cut of Dialogue · 7:14am Mar 9th, 2016
I think I'll start a thing. This thing will start with one line and follow to where it ended. These lines each home a separate situation, not a story. Short and possibly simple. These are also thoughts of mine, and contemplation on stories.
"What are you gonna do now?"
"Find them."
"And then?"
"Kill them. I'll make them pay. They don't deserve the wood of a house's floor beneath their feet."
"They have a dreadnought. And outnumber you five hundred to one."
"And all of it will mean nothing to me."
"It's a complete loss, no way you look at it."
"Loss? He murdered my lover. You ever once fought a god?"
"No?"
"They're about to."
"He killed her."
"I know what he did, he killed her, but my question is what are you going to do? It's your job."
"What would you like me to do, sure?"
"Murder him. Make an example out of him. He doesn't deserve to live. With organs. Do it that way, should be fine."
"Ever seen two god's fight?"
"No."
"I have. They wiped out an entire naval fleet, then fought."
"Thats cool."
"They also turned the entire shoreline into a crater, killing hundreds of thousands."
"Oh."
"Yeah."
"What do you want from me, dog!?"
"Love! And affection!"
