It's that time again! Progress Report (5), Updates, Ideas, and Zootopia · 5:29am Mar 8th, 2016
Yes everyone, it's time I show what I've been doing over the last few months. I've kind of been going back and forth between these stories depending on how I was feeling and what ideas I had, but I believe we'll be getting quite a bit of chapters posted this month, depending on how well my new way of proofreading/editing will go that I'm hoping will fix more errors than what we've already seen in the rough drafts. Anyway! Here's what I've got going so far.
The Model's Secretary (42): 100%, currently being proofread/edited.
(43): 0%, will start soon.
(Bonus Chapter): 50%
Unleash the Magic! (7, 8, 9): 100%, not sent for proofreading/editing yet.
Dear Miss Cheerilee (5): ~50%
I know it seems like I'm giving UTM more attention than TMS, but honestly, when I was starting out, this was the very first story I was writing before I had to reboot it, before I even published TMS when it was only intended for about 10 chapters (and holy shit was I wrong on that 
) I just had more ideas for UTM popping in my head more than TMS and went with it, but I'll try to balance my attention between the two. As for DMC, it's been a while, and I thought I'd publish another chapter at some point before I give it a proper hiatus status. I'm hoping to get back on this and perhaps a few other projects once I'm done with TMS and taking a break from it.
I was planning to publish TMS on Saturday since it was my birthday (turned 23 this year), but a lot of stuff had happened and I was too occupied to work on it. Speaking of birthdays, one of my good friends from the editing team, Quote, apparently commissioned this for the occasion.
He's currently waiting for the artist to clean it up a little, but I thought this was really awesome and wanted to show you guys while I say thanks again to him for the thought. Man, I have GOT to get back to drawing at some point. Maybe once I stop juggling between two jobs...
Anyway! What I'd also like to share was a story idea that came to mind recently that's mostly thanks to the MILFs and cougars I've been seeing around sites recently. So we know who Mascara is, right? CEO of a large fashion corporation, divorced as victim of infidelity, and being charged for illegal negotiations with her clients as well as sexual assault on our poor Ozzy here.
BUT! What else is there to know about her? Not much other than that, and I kind of want to expand on it at least in a short story that doesn't have to do with the main plot of TMS. So why not make a parallel universe out of it? Instead of Ozzy being offered the position as secretary, however, this will take place earlier than that, like around when the humans were JUST starting to migrate into Equestria. A new human is interviewed for the job as "The CEO's Secretary" (possible title) in VOGUE, Mascara hasn't made any illegal negotiations, but has been alone for quite some time and is just starting to get on "the hunt" for younger stallions to date. What do you guys think? Would it be a good start?
Finally, let's talk animals. ZOOTOPIA WAS AMAZING. Disney did a swell job on this one, and rottentomatoes apparently agrees (99% though, holy shit). Characters are memorable, the plot is pretty relative to real life, surprisingly, and the morals were also great. Would I see it again? Most likely (I've seen Deadpool twice, so why not this one?). My favorite character would definitely be this guy right here.
Just look that smile. How can you not love that smile?
Anyway, that's really there is to it for now. The latest TMS and its bonus chapter will be coming soon, so clench your butts real tight-like. It's gonna get pretty hot in more ways than one.

Mrgrgr for some reason Zootopia hasn't come out here in Brisbane (one of Australia major city's) and from what it looks like it won't be here next Thursday ether. *sigh* between this and fire emblem I wonder if Australia is being lightly punished for something

Happy belated birthday. Quick question I'm not sure you touched on this in TMS. What did you have set as humanity's and equestria's first contact? Meaning how did the 2 worlds meet.
3797511 This goes way back to chapter one of the story. As was mentioned, portals were popping up throughout the world from out of nowhere and the ponies-specifically the princesses-were the first to make the travel between them while trying to make peace with the humans.
After first contact, it took Earth six months to prepare humans to properly traverse to Equius/Equestria. It was two months after that that Ozzy moved into the new world, where as the new protagonist in the story idea I mentioned would probably move in a month earlier, or even at the very beginning of interdimensional transportation into Manehattan where he'll work at VOGUE.
Nick has the smile of a greasy used car salesman. The social justice issues explored was interesting.
