My shoes,
They are very pretty to me.
I wear them every day, every hour, every minute.
They are like my happiness,
Hugging me, blessing me, and loving me.
And I'm proud I chose these shoes.
Yet however, I walk by people wearing different shoes.
Different color, different look, some closely linked to my shoes.
I didn't care about those shoes, cause who would? That's their shoes.
But every day, I'd see a fight happening
Right around an alley, or in the public street.
The reason? Shoes. Just cause one was different than their pair.
I wondered why this was a thing, why people really care.
I don't force anyone to wear mine, I don't threaten people to take off their shoes,
But others do. I'm afraid it might happen to me.
One day, I saw a man with shoes attacking another wearing my pair of shoes.
Then the next, I'd see a man wearing my pair again, this time fighting a man wearing no shoes.
It was brutal, heartbreaking, and felt... silly.
Why do we fight over the pair of shoes we wear?
I wanted to wear these, and someone wanted to where those.
Did I judge them for something like that? No.
So that's a question that bumbles me over and over.
What was with the shoes? Cause of the different look? Color? Style?
I drag it with me everytime I walk with my grandmother, who also shakes her head at such nonsense.
Long-story-short, friend,
Don't fight over something silly like the shoes.
(So, what'd you think? Give me what you thought I was talking about.

This can be made into a story.
I'm surprised the people haven't said "DAMN DANIEL" or "WHAT ARE THOSE" to you.
3787216 Oh no, this isn't about my personal life. It was just a poem I made after a quote made by a fellow, how should I put it... voice that stands out. If you know the quote or man, then you might understand the poem theme. This is, again, NOT about me or from my point of view. While I do feel about this kind of thing, I don't deal with this problem. Just a bit of a huge situation that is kinda crazy.
And silly, they aren't about actual shoes.
