Transformers Combiner Wars Review (Part 1 of 7) · 1:59am Mar 2nd, 2016

Transformers. If any one hasn't figured it out yet, I like them. A lot. Enough to collect the four main Combiners released in this line as well as enough to do multi-part review of them.

This is something that Hasbro is doing right. Appealing to the older fans. I don't mind the gimmicky stuff that Robots in Disguise has, but I have my limit. When you sacrifice quality for quantity, you will get crap.

But this line? This line is fantastic. The figures are generally good. One or two bad figures, but that is more a thing about your mileage may vary, and solid combined modes.

Want to see the four main combiners?

Here they are:
Superion:

Menasor:

Defensor:

Bruticus:

Now, for all the other crap that Hasbro has put out with Transformers, it is so refreshing to see these. They what they do and they do it well. Are they perfect? Nothing ever is, and this still follow that rule, but are they enjoyable? Absolutely. Do I think you should drop $100 to buy just one of these? If you want to. They would be your toy, and you can do what ever you want to with them.

This and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic are the two best lines that Hasbro has. Sure the Takara versions are nicer and might be better, but these are definitely worth their price. However, due to Superion and Menasor being released one year ago, he is not cheap/easy to complete, along with Bruticus being hard to find in stores and not cheap online. There are alternatives however:

That is Neon, and why Hasbro is known as the repaint king.

More blogs to come about individual reviews, so please keep an eye out.

See you all soon.
