There comes a time in a man's life when they must decide which camp they belong to. When a man must choose whether or not he shall go down one road, or the other. This time is my time. Ladies and gentlemen, I may or may not be caught up with the Steven Universe series... And I did it in one weekend. I've grown attached to the characters and fan art. I find them quite good and entertaining. Then I look at all the pony stuff... And I wince. For I remember gushing and fanboying out whenever I was asked about MLP. It's childish.
Now I must go on to other media that is slightly less childish but still somewhat mature... People, my fellow humans, I, GodOfBBQ, no longer belong to the Brony camp and have migrated to the SU camp. Or whatever you call Steven Universe fans. Does that mean I'll leave the site? Thankfully, (for you at least) no, I will not leave. I care about you all too much, it would be very difficult for me to leave.
Audience, I've grown! I've grown from a brony who'd draw ponies and write fan fiction (which I suppose I'll still do since I want to make you people happy) to a different and slightly more mature fanboy who's more interested in gems...
Plus no offense guys, some of the people here just really, really, REALLY, turn me off from the fandom. So my primary show is now Steven Universe, my secondary is American Horror Story. Shows that, frankly, will last much longer and will float for a little longer than MLP will unfortunately.
So goodbye... But, not really goodbye, just... Goodbye brony GOB, goodbye.

Don't people realise that you can be a part of multiple fandoms? You don't have to be a part of just one. You can like both.
To be honest I see Steven Universe ending around the same time as MLP, it seems that the main storyline regarding Yellow Diamond and the cluster will be handled in the new season and then what is there after that except a few filler episodes? I love Steven Universe as much as I love MLP and Sonic.

And I know I can be a part of multiple fandoms, hell I technically am with SU and AHS, but I'm saying is I grew out of MLP. It's not as entertaining I guess.
I personally like a whole bunch of cartoons at the same time. MLP is one of like twenty or more cartoons that I watch at the same time. :/
But hey. To each their own.
What you like is your own choice. I don't like SU very much. I just don't like the main character. When you say that the people here turned you away from the Fandom, I can agree that some of them piss me off as well. It's a shame you're moving on, but most people will eventually. I hope you can still find enjoyment in mlp.

Maturation is a point of view, if you believe you have grown from leaving one show for another, awesome. Though, I do believe it was more so the negative encounters you had with those post-fellow fans and not the show itself that turned you off of it. By the way, if it's not too intrusive, what were the bad experiences you had with some others here? I'm Sorry if it is.
3759688 It's the kind of people I always see. The people who won't listen to reason or true honesty. And that's not just people, it's really shown here with this community. Now I'm not saying everyone is like this, but there's a vast majority that completely shadow the good ones who don't complain, who don't make a big deal out of everything.
Plus the show's kind of gone stale. It's mostly fan service at this point.
