Because I have achieved 69 followers and it is Hearts and Hooves, I shall do a special BlogPost:
Sorry, but I do not have any advice for stallions seeking stallions or mares seeking mares.
Advice for stallions seeking mares:
Keep trying. You will be rejected about 100 times for each mare who agrees to date you. "No" might mean "not now, but maybe later.", so it is okay to try asking out a mare again, but "3 Strikes and ou are out". If a mare says no to 3 offers to courtship, she is not interested. If you continue anyway, you are a creepy stalker and will end up in prison with the nickname Ben Dover and have to spell the word "run" over and over again.
You will have to ask out hundreds of mares just to get a date. Most dates go nowhither. It is sad, but thus is life. This is what one has to do to find a soulmate.
Advice for mares seeking stallions:
Before I begin, imagine a Stallion holding out for Princess Luna. He wants to marry with Princess Luna. He will accept no substitute. ¿Does he have realistic expectations? Almost all lonely mares have unrealistic expectations:
Millions of years ago, before ponies had marriage, mares wanted only the alpha-male to breed with them. Now we have marriage, which is mostly pairs a with the occasional group-marriages of PolyAmory. Unfortunately, mares still instinctively want the alpha-male, but unless the mare is an alpha-female. This is what mares should do, if they want to find a stallion for marriage (if you just want 1-night stands with alpha-males, ignore this advice):
0. Look into a mirror.
1. Rate yourself on a scale from 00 to 10.
Let us suppose that you are a 03. Your range is 02 to 04.
2. Rate stallions interested in you on a scale from 00 to 10.
If a stallion is in your range and shows interest in you. Give him a chance, if it does not work out, then fine, but after you date 5 to 10 stallions in your range, you are almost certain to find a soulmate. This is a much better strategy than waiting for a 10, which is almost certainly doomed to failure for a 03.
Making love:
Since stallions have stronger libidos, they usually initiate sex. Since sex is the idea of the stallion, the mare often puts the stallion in charge of pleasure. Then, the mares complain about what lousy lovers stallions are. The mares are right, but mares are lousy lovers too:
When the mare is on top, she can usually achieve orgasm, but the stallion is left high and dry. The fact is that both mares and stallions are terrible lovers. Ponies need to take charge of their own pleasure and take turns:
Try starting off with the mare on top. She does what gives her pleasure. After the mare has her orgasms, they rollover so that the stallion is on top. He does what makes him feel good until he orgasms.
