(Rant) The people I work with disgust me · 6:51am Feb 12th, 2016
I am so sick of the people I work with and their treatment of co-workers. I was getting some dinner around 6 o'clock and had wandered up to the front a bit later than I wanted so I was already in an agitated state. But then the cashier starts yelling at the door greeter (A wonderful chap from Turkey named Honour). He had been helping someone with a return on ink and someone went out the door without paying for something and he couldn't stop them.
She then reprimands him and says he needs to pay attention to such things. He asks if she saw them leave without paying and she said yes. Well, he asks her a very good question, "Why didn't you stop them?" Her reply? "That's not my job." She then turns and scoffs and mutters to me. "I really hate biting my tongue around these people." I just grunted and walked away before I snapped at her.
Where in the hell does she get off saying something like that? People like that just really grind my gears. There was no need for that attitude and to say those things in front of customers was just disrespectful. Well, being the wonderful A*hole that I am, I went to management and reported her for that little comment along with everything else. I don't have time for this high school drama bullcrap.

I just hope they actually do something about it and don't just sweep it under the rug or forget about it. Apparently she's had lots of complaints and problems so hopefully this will be the nail in the coffin and they actually do something about it because that kind of attitude should not be tolerated.

I agree with you, but sometimes things are out of your hands. You did the right thing, the next thing you can do is hope that it works out.
Speaking of working out, I hope everything turns out fine in your end, and you'd have better days ahead
