Sites Where You Can Host Your Images

Imgur sucks, so here are some other places were you can host your images just to spite them.

1. ImgBB: This site allows you to upload and store as many pictures/ images as you like. You can register to keep track of your images but you can also upload images without making an account.

2. Postimage: A site that allows you to upload and store as many pictures as you want. You can register to keep track of your images but you can also upload images without making an account.

3. imgbox: A site that allows you to upload an unlimited amount of images and GIFs. It has a nice layout and is extremely easy to use.

4. Picasa: This is Google's attempt to make an image hosting site. It isn't as sleek or straightforward as other image hosting services, but it does allow you to upload as many images and GIFs as you want.

5. TinyPic: This is a site where you can upload pictures, videos, and GIFs. It is fairly easy to use and you can also interact with other members of the community, similar to Imgur.

6. Photobucket: A site where you can upload and store pictures and GIFs. The one drawback to this site is that you have a limited amount of storage. In order to get more space, you have to purchase a storage plan. But the starting storage isn't too bad. This is a good site to host backup images for this reason.

7. Gyazo: This is another site where you can host images and GIFs. It has a setup similar to Picasa where you download the uploader onto your computer. The drawback to this site is that you have to pay to unlock additional site features and storage. This is a good solution for people who need storage for their websites but maybe not the best option for a casual internet user.

8. imgh.us: A site where you can download an unlimited amount of GIFs and images. It doesn't have the best site design or setup but it is still a good free options for free image and GIF storing.

9. Google Photos: This is Google's attempt to not be Picasa. And also to blatantly rip off Facebook's image storing system. In any case, it is another free place where you can store an unlimted amount of images and Gifs.

10. Fractyl: A site where you can upload music, videos, pictures, and Gifs. This is probably the best alternative to Imgur that I have found. It mimics the Imgur setup and gives users more options for uploading and sharing their content.

11. puush: A neat little site where you can upload screenshots straight from the internet. You can store an unlimited amount of images and Gifs here.

12. Pearltrees: A site where you can host your web pages, files, notes, images and GIFs for free. There is a good amount of storage available for casual users and you can upload your various files for free. You can upgrade to different account types for more storage and better editing tools.

13. Imgur: Yeah, Imgur sucks, but it still has good editing tools. So here is what you do; use Imgur to edit your photos or to convert urls into images. Then, host the images on another site. It's the ultimate way of giving them the snub!

14. Deviant Art's Sta.sh: A place where Deviant Art allows members to store all sorts of files from writing files to picture files and even flash files! The good news is that there is no limitation to how much you can upload. So this is a very good resource for anyone who has a Deviant Art account or is looking to create one.

I use Pearltrees for saving my favorite pictures.

3745285 Thank you for letting me know about this site. I will add it to the list.

SLiMG looks really good. I've been using Postimg, but I think I'll switch since I liked being able to simply paste the cropped images from my preferred image editor. I recommend Paint.NET (the program, not the site) for all light-weight editing rather than Gimp, PS, or online tools.

3747604 Thank you for the program suggestion. Is it set up similar to Photoshop out of curiosity?

3747697 it's not very unlike Photoshop, but as you might guess, there aren't as many features, which makes it faster to load.

3748203 That is good to know. I'll have to check it out.

Hi so i've tried all of these and half say invalid image and the ones that work disappear in an hour?

5558924 I've personally never had trouble with IMGBB. Once you make an account and upload a picture it always stays there.

Hey, thanks for the post. I've been using Gyazo, and it's been okay, but I have to go through too many steps to upload my own image to it. (Ones from the Internet work easily.)

I'm probably going to switch to ImgBB, per your suggestion.

5777670 You are very welcome. I'm glad it could help.
