Reposting Fics Without Permission...Is Your Story Among These? · 3:11am Feb 9th, 2016
Hey, guys. A user called Pigeon Wings just informed me that there is an author who posted my story on another web site without my permission, nor a link to me. I found TONS of other stories there, and I'm not sure that the authors of those stories know this or not. He asked the Pigeon asked the user about it, but received no response and PM'd me about it. The stories can be found here. If your story is there and you are against this, we can do something about it. If you know an author that may not know their story is on that site, will you let them know too?
However, they are not claiming these as their own...if you're okay with this, then it's no harm

3742350 I don't think they are, but they're just posting it. The user pretty much ignores the messages sent asking to let the author know about this site and what it's used for. I'm just letting people know in case they are not comfortable with it. If it's okay, then no harm no foul.

It is a fanfiction site for all and any fandoms, just like FIMfiction, it's for posting your own stories, and even though there is no specific rules stating no posting other people's stories like FIMfiction, it should be obvious to anyone that reposting without permission, if ever allowed, is not exactly pleasing to the author of the stories.
I'm assuming that the user did intend to repost these as their own, even without stating so. They're obviously very smart, because
a. they posted them on another site where they couldn't get banned and
b. they didn't, as I mentioned before, state that they wrote the stories. I mean, how many stories do you see on anywhere really that have: "This is my story" or "I own this story". Putting that is a warning sign they stole it. (Most of the time)
But anyway, I do have many profiles on this site, and if you think it's necessary, I'll see if I can talk to them, but if they don't listen I think reporting them might be the best way to go.

I found out over this past summer that someone tried to steal one of my fics. Just watch yourself out there, my friend.
I didn't see any of mine.... but not saying that it's someone else's is wrong.
I am far to lazy to go searching throught the list for any of mine. Although they seem to be about the regular, well known ponies. But yes this is bad, all of it.
