Oh man, the super bowl is back and better than ever! Man, I have a lot to talk about, but first, let's play a quick little game! It's called...

Already I hate football a whole, but now we have this. Well, we've always had this, I just never found the time to really talk about it. It's just football, dammit. Besides, all the super bowl actually does is waste millions on either building a new football field in Brazil you'll never damn-well use again, or spend it on hospital funds or FUNERAL COSTS!!! Why? BECAUSE FOOTBALL KILLS PEOPLE, THAT'S FUCKING WHY!!
...so as you can see, I'm not a fan. I think the super bowl is a pointless event in which thousands cheer players on towards an extremely violent sport. Now hey, I don't hate sports, but a sport where you literally tackle someone and risk killing them? Yeah, no thanks.

3739603 If you want to know I'll be glad to tell you. 1. The Superbowl is the number one biggest event in the US along with Wrestle mania and the amount it brings in will benefit the economy.
2. The Superbowl shows just who is the greatest team is and who'll be in the hall of fame.
3. Its brings friends and family to watch the greatest sport show in history.
I can come up with some other reason but hey it'll take awhile, but if you ain't a football fan that's okay too.

I don't really care for American football or the super bowl myself, I used to then stopped when I became a teenager. To make matters even worse, your to get a kick out of this, companies spend more money on ads that they run just for the super bowl. Also , some people have crunched the numbers in regards to food eaten each holiday, and yes we really are forced to accept Super Bowl Sunday as a holiday. What they found is the big three when it comes to most food consumed in from most to least are Christmas, Thanksgiving (which actually starts historically with the Lincoln administration), and Super Bowl Sunday. That's right, the two biggest family holidays in the US are the are listed as the days more food is consumed than the holiday where sports fans sit around the tv eating more snacks than a pro gamer.
The super bowl isn't in brazil. That was the world cup. They also use the same stadiums. This is also coming from someone who hates football. The sport is brainless(and causes brain damage), but I just don't see the entertainment value in it. But hey, to each their own.

My brother has suggested that in order to make Super Bowl Sunday a legitimate holiday they should also have something broadcast for people not interested in that kind of sport, like official Starcraft Tournaments. The reason I said it that way, competitive Starcraft is actually considered a sport in countries like South Korea.

3739688 I would like to point out Starcraft is a Real Time Strategy game that requires a lot of tactical thinking, and paying attention what's happening within everywhere you can see. Heckling other players is part of game, it's done in football and wrestling in case you forgot.
