Hello. My name is DarkScorcher. I recently became a brony around the time of the 2nd season of MLP. The first season I was still skeptical, thinking it just a boring old kids show. But now? Now I can't get enough of it. I have my very own favorite pony: Vinyl. So much so, that to cosplay her, I even orderd a white hoodie and a blue hair wig with matching purple shades online. It looks awesome! Anyways, let me tell you how DarkScorcher, my OC developed. Like I said, he came into being not long after the 2nd season aired, but only in my mind. You see, I couldn't figure out a good backstory for him, and I didn't want to do the generic spin-offs. You know, red/black Alicorns with dark pasts? That. Instead, I waited. And waited. And...you get the idea.

Anyways, when season 4 came out, and Tirek blasted Twilight's home, I had it. I knew his backstory then. The way he started in my mind was this, and without revealing too much, because I plan writing his story, here's some of it: He was a normal earth pony of off-yellow coloring, with a two-toned fiery mane and green eyes. He was in the Golden Oaks when it blew, but for an unknown reason, didn't die, and no he's not immortal or un-killable. Instead, he was tossed away, laning on the road, and when he came to, found out unique changes in himself. Only two I'll mention are this: His green eyes shifted to Nightmare Moon slitted eyes, and had brighter brilliance. And his coat went from off-yellow, to a deep ash grey. That's all I'll say on the matter.
