Man, this just hasn't been the best year for quite a few famous people that we all loved. They'll live on in our hearts.

3734237 You do realize that with the exception of Dave Mirra (who was 41 and committed suicide), most of the people dying recently have been over 60, right? Here's something you might not have realized yet:

Old people die.

Old people have been dying for thousands of years. Old people will keep on dying for thousands more years.

Because that's what old people do. They die.

It's just a FREAKISH coincidence that a lot of really famous old people with cancer are dying within days of each other.

Of course, being mortal, being superstitious, and being just plain creeped out by tons of bad news about death all at once, it's human nature to freak out and wonder just what the hell's going on.

But we do need to remember that old people die and it's just something that can't be avoided.
