Hello everyone! My name is SuperKamek and welcome back to another episode of "Metacritic Monday", where I bitch and complain about people who bitch and complain. This week's episode revolves around probably the flashiest game on the Wii U right now; Wonderful 101. It has been universally stated as simply... "Good". Wow, really? The game that has giant fucking space lasers is just good? Okay, okay, I won't deny this game is far from being a perfect game, what with it's multiple control issues and drawing that GODDAMN LINE!! But it's still a fantastic game.
Please, please, PLEASE take note that I will not be ripping apart reviews that are actually legit. If someone dislikes a game for a reason, I'm all okay with that. What I'm NOT okay with is false information, like those stupid "0/10" reviews you find sometimes. Also take note that this is for entertainment and comedy purposes only, so I will be exaggerating a few points I make. So, without further ado, let's delve into Metacritic Monday!
Alright, who do we have next on the chopping block, eh? User "Matthewlh", huh? Man, I love looking at all these 0/10 review. They just make me laugh! Now, despite its flaws, I personally really enjoyed The Wonderful 101, what with the flashy visuals and simply amazing soundtrack backing it up. Not one of Platinum's best, but certainly still a fun game all together. This guy apparently doesn't like the game, so let's find out why, shall we?
So get your wonder switches ready and masks on your faces, because we're once again going head-first into the cow shit that is my job. Like it or hate it, this is my thoughts on this guy. Woo! Okay! Alright! Let's... uh... Let's do this! Yeah! Wooo... okay... yep. Let's just go.
Easily one of the worst games I've ever played. Don't play it.
For those who claim that difficulty makes a game worthwhile I'm playing it on "normal." Games are meant to be fun, not difficult. Difficulty should be a choice not a requirement. It is stupid to make a game look so childish then be so difficult. It is great this is not going to be a viable IP. It should stay that way. Don't waste money on this nonsense.

Normal can mean anything, buddy. If a radiation-breathing fire dragon lizard thing attacks an overpopulated city on a daily basis, then that's considered normal for them.
Games are meant to be fun, not difficult.
Bloodborne? Yeah, that game is hard as balls. But DAMN if I didn't have fun playing it! Monster Hunter G-rank? Yeah, that's hard too. It'd be really bad if I didn't get badass armor as a reward for enduring that difficulty... OH FUCKING WAIT!! To quote the late president John F. Kennedy...
"We choose to go to the moon not because it is easy, but because it is hard!"
It is in human nature to challenge ourselves and push ourselves to find our limit. If everything in life was easy, we would have nothing to live for. Nothing to fight for. Nothing to play video games for. Video games are there to challenge us, and a good challenge is exactly the kind of fun we all need.
This one sentence just makes me laugh on so many levels.

One other person agreed with him, meaning someone else agrees with his whole "difficulty" speech.

Also, again, I'm sorry for the late release again on Tuesday. I do try to get these out on Monday, but a lot of shit happens in my life that distracts me from writing these. Y'know... Like Xenoblade Chronicles X.

I personally think it's enjoyable and the story while nonsensical? Hilarious and actually engaging.

Meh. I've always felt story, characters, and music sell a game a lot more (to me at least) than if I'm going to have to buy a new controller every time I turn the game on, but to each their own.
