Hat Man Reviews: "Haze" by Bandy!

Haze is a story that is filled with big ideas: Cloud empires. Flying earth ponies. Ancient religions. Superpower-inducing fungi. Unfortunately, much like the mushroom-munching ponies in this story, this story might be biting off more than it can handle…

"The Iron Horse" Updates Tomorrow (1/31) - PLUS last hints for the code... · 7:09pm Jan 30th, 2016

You read right! The last chapter of the Trottingham Arc drops tomorrow. In fact, I'm aiming for around midday, early afternoon in US Central time, so you won't even have to wait for the evening... unless you're in the UK or Europe, which obviously some of you are. :twilightsheepish:

Erm, but anyway, let's talk codes! So, it seems nobody has been able to decipher the code I've left in the last few blog posts. One person has guessed and it was a decent guess with his head in the right place... but not successful. So, with around 24 hours left, how about I give you all a few more hints...

As a reminder, please leave me a PM if you decipher it. Don't leave a comment on this blog post or the story or anything. So, once again, here it is:

13 22 18 2 7 12 2 13 3 12 15 10

So, here are the hints I'll give:
1. Guess the first letter. That one should be easier than the others, and it is key to figuring out the rest.
2. This arc is a bit of an homage to Alan Turing, and one of the major ways he decoded things was by taking guesses at likely words.
3. What is a major element introduced in this arc? Using the previous two hints, you might be able to guess the first word. From there, the rest will fall into place.

And there you have it! If everything's coming up negative, just stay positive and keep trying! Good luck!

DAMMIT, I should know this one, I've seen "the Enigma Code." There are only three words of German that anyone needs to know, and two of them are "Hail Hitler."

3723848 I'll help you out: you don't need to know German to beat this code. All the words are English.
