So I'm putting Chasing the Briny Neighsayer on hiatus to focus on my new FlutterDash fic. I realize I've already been doing that, but I'm going to shoot for a release of the first chapter and the prologue early next week. (I want February 1st, but we'll see how long it takes the mods to approve it.) I'm currently going through the editing process for the ten chapters I have initially completed, and I've got some really wonderful help from great editors. I'm going to try and release the chapters maybe no more than two a week to give myself and the editors time to make sure the content is good.
I'm fairly nervous about it. My OC pirate fic flew under the radar, and there were some issues with it that an editor (and time) could have prevented. That's another reason CtBN is on hiatus: I want to clean up what I have posted and finish planning the story out. Now that I've unlocked the power of Scrivener, I have no excuse for a sloppy plot and characterization.
I realize I don't have a lot of followers atm, but I guess I just wanted this on the record.
