Exactly as it says on the tin: listen to the trials and tribulations of Ponyville's town treasurer at tax time!

...did you just double-post a blog? How does that even?wait no goddamn it why does everything sound the same to me today argh
You know, this is actually a wonderful example of that little linguistics factoid I read about a while ago: people have the tendency to identify words by reading only the beginning and the end of it, because those are the most distinguishing features of many common words. The middle is often entirely dropped, which can make for some curious misunderstandings.

3699882 If it makes you feel any better, I had the exact same problem when posting the readings. Had to do kind of a double take to make sure I hadn't accidentally named them both the same thing.

Actually, the feed has a problem where it sometimes doesn't load the correct youtube videos for the correct posts, and that includes repeats. It actually gave the same video twice for me.
3700095 Yah more readings!

Wat. O.o That could point to a real problem with the hyperlink coding. :/

!!!
:D

It's not hyperlinks, it's specifically youtube embeds.

Same basic principle. :P
Regardless, hope you found your way to both the new ones without incident.
I like the message behind this story.
Is like
That's what it reminded me of.

Because I'm so
uncreativebrilliant that I actually parody myself and my own story titles? It's totally true; there's a meme which circulates on Facebook all the time to that effect:

Yay!

In a way, that would have been hilarious. I had to check and double-check that I was putting the right link in the right blog post, story description, and so on.

Ooh, let's all blame the mods! It's Knighty's fault. Or M.A. Larson's. Or something. Anyhow, it worked on my end.

I know! And the voice on the detail shop pony is my personal favorite so far. I need to listen to it again. And again.
(EDIT: To be clear, that isn't in this story; it's in the One-Shot-Ober one.)
(EDIT EDIT: Also Golden Agate (also not this story); I never thought a Brit could sound like a New Yorker--the man has talent!)
(EDIT EDIT EDIT: I think I may be suffering from a teensy bit of sleep deprivation. I'm not sure I'm making sense any more.)

I'm so glad I make this stuff work . . .
Though I have to say, I was (personally, if I may be so bold) impressed with how well the Accident Report Voice came out. And I'm still partial to Oirish Golden Harvest and Noi. But perhaps that's just me with my weird Britty headcanons.
Quick question, how does one gain an audio reading? Is it due to popularity and someone asks to do it or do you ask others to read your work for you? Just was wondering because this is quite awesome that you have this.

Seems reproducible, though; if you load the feed, and the front page has multiple Youtube videos on it, and you click a post, and then press Back in your browser, the video embeds mess up and all show the same video. On Chrome, anyway.

I liked the sigh in the beginning. Was that intentional?
It's totally your weird Britty headcanons. Never change.
Also, if you haven't, read My British Pony: Stereotypes are Magic. It's sadly incomplete.
Actually, if you ever wanted to do a reading of Berry Punch Celebrates St. Patrick's Day, you could go all out. Especially on the bartender; IRL he's Irish.
Also also, if you haven't seen it: Yu Ming Is Ainm Dom.

Luck, mostly. I've been blessed in having people who want to do it.
