Update Time: I have not been idle! edition.

Good afternoon everyone!

Anywho... After getting stuck on a particular bit of required transition in Cake Thief, and getting unstuck because I talked to my good friend Minds Eye about it (never underestimate the value of friendships when it comes to writing. A good friend will help you idea bounce.) And that update is coming along nicely, and should be done and ready to post fairly soon.

This was, hopefully, the hardest transition. I've never been very good at setting transitions, but I am getting better at it. Also, holidays are fun, but they disrupt everything.

(And I started four other stories during that disruption, wrote between 600 words to 20k words for each, and am now letting them incubate)

In other news, five thousand words of bloggy goodness are coming, though not all at once. The Negative Space blog I've been working on got to have so much content in it that I decided to break it into its three component parts and post them all separately, on separate days.

In yet more good news, there is a story to go along with that blog series, and I will be using that story as an example, as I wrote the story with the intent of having it be useful to the blog. However, I'm not gonna write a story that's crippled by needing to pertain to a blog, and I kinda let this one flow a bit, then went back and revised it two or three times into the form it's at right now.

Look for the first in the blog series and the story to go along with it sometime around Wednesday. I'll post part 2 two days later, (Friday planned) to give time for people to ask questions or comment on the blog and the story, and the final blog two days later to, again, give folks a chance to comment on the blog and/or story.
