That's pretty good. I'd say that you need to make the body a hair bigger (ponies in MLP are a bit chubby-looking, after all), but it's nice work all the same.

3691842 Nipper is a wyvern bat, a breed of bat named for having a similar appearance to the legendary draconic creatures. Wyvern bats are larger than normal bats, and feed on insects and small rodent creatures, though if starved for long periods of time they will attack larger creatures, even ponies. Luckily, they don't venture near villages or towns. Wyvern bats can produce a tiny flicker of flame from their mouths, adding further to their draconic namesake.

Nipper came from a cavern Midnight happened upon during her journey through snowy mountains. She tamed Nipper by feeding him and using high-frequency sound waves to 'communicate' with him, like bats do. Nipper has been by her side ever since. He was named Nipper by Midnight because he had a tendency to lightly nip her hooves as she fed him.

Nipper is not only Midnight's pet, but he doubles as a set of tools. His fiery spit helps to light fires and act like a torch, and his size lets him get around in small spaces. With his sharp fangs, Nipper can bite through most metals that aren't as tough as steel.

Nipper doesn't like loud noises though, and his fire spit isn't as impressive as it sounds. It's about on the same level as a cigarette lighter, and limited in use before needing to replenish through feeding. Midnight also taught Nipper how to *sigh* flip people off with his wings.

And he hates apples. Bad experience as a young wyvern bat; an apple hit him on the head. He didn't like it.

When not flying himself, Nipper likes to latch on to Midnight by wrapping his wings around her neck and nuzzling his head into her warm fur. In this state, he looks like a black leathery scarf / bandanna around Midnight's night. Although wyvern bats are usually active during the night, Nipper's routine has changed in conjunction with Midnight's due to his owner being more active during the day as opposed to other bat ponies, who too are often active during nightfall.

3692382 No, I might redraw this picture. I want it to look good. Like her eyes; I wanted them to glow, but it doesn't look entirely right. I could just take out the glowing effect I suppose. Keep things simple instead of trying to overcomplicate things.
