    A Good Pace

    It's time...

I made a promise that I'd keep up a good pace now that my life is in a better place. And now I have the second to last chapter.

We're nearing on the home stretch.

Continuing the Flow — My Little Serial Killer

Sat down today, the day after I published the latest chapter and wrote the first 2,000 words of the next chapter.

Getting Ready — My Little Serial Killer

It's been a long while since I've looked at My Littler Serial Killer with a close eye and saw a LOT that could be edited and improved.

So, I went through every chapter of My Little Serial Killer these past two days and did a complete overhaul.

I'm about two-thirds of the way done with the new chapter of My Little Serial Killer. That should be posted by the end of this coming week.

A Bit of My Life's Story These Past Two Years

So, I became a reporter for a local paper and thought things would change and I'd have a nice, easy life.

What I didn't expect was to be the only reporter for that local paper. A normal week would see me writing at least six full-length stories. I'd also help put the paper together for publication. I was basically an assistant to the editor in all but name. And pay.

So, I Thought I'd Get More Time

Do you know when the busiest time to be a journalist is? September, right up until Christmas. You have local elections you need to keep up on, in addition to what you're normally doing, then Thanksgiving rolls around and like, 8 different entities do something related to that and then Christmas is the same story.

Alright so, I have some explaining to do · 8:32pm Jan 14th, 2016

So, depression is a bitch. I've been hit with it a few times and I've been trying to focus, but it's been hard to find that spark, that drive that's always gotten me going in the past. School was eating up all my time, writing wasn't fun; it was a job. Then school ended and it was hard to even find the energy to write.

Then I did something simple.

I got a netbook. A cheap little one that can't do anything except browse the web and it can't even do that well. But it can run a google document alright and I started to write at work. That was my other problem.

Work 40 hours a week and what do you want to do at the end of a shift? Rest.

So, during my breaks, I started writing as a way to pass the time. And then suddenly? It's like a dam burst. I found my muse, I found my energy, I found my will. In the last two weeks, I've written more than I have in the last two months.

I do want to apologize for those of you eagerly awaiting what I'm writing next, but it's been a struggle that I've recently managed to come on top of for the moment.

With the new chapter of Role Reversal up, I can safely say that I'm back in the saddle. I'll be working on My Saving Grace next.

Again, as always, thank you for reading and bringing a much needed smile to my face. Knowing people actually like what I'm putting out there is the highlight of my day

Very glad to hear you're back in the proverbial saddle.

We've all been there before, my friend. I was gone from the community for almost two years, but after hitting a low point in my life and deciding to return to the community, I'm now flooding with ideas and working on a ton of new projects. Glad to have you back, and I've been a big fan of your stuff for some time!

~Lithe

Glad to see you return, also glad to see someone who has a valid reason for going MiA since I never have a good reason. Yes, boredom is not a reason.

I'm sure anyone with a full-time job can relate. :applecry:

Either way, I'm very glad to see that you're back!

It's great to see you back man, you right some of the best short shipfics in the fandom.

And muses can be real bitches sometimes huh?

Carry On

Thank you. I've been a fan of "Two's Company, Three's a Crowd" myself. Glad to hear that you're coming back ^.^

It's hard to find that muse sometimes to write. If it's boring, there's no reason to do it. Boring moods will produce boring works, I say.

Full time jobs are a blessing and a curse.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I love it when I hear people say stuff like that. I blush like crazy at that kind of praise ^//////^

This is going to be a good year, I can feel it.

Anytime friend, and it does my heart good to hear that someone whose work I enjoy also enjoys mine! If you ever need a proofreader or someone to bounce ideas with, I'm always good for it!

~Lithe

3688345 It isn't that it's boring, it's just not as fun as other things. It stayed at the same interest level. The tedious became more interesting. I was thinking of changing my name during that time...

Good on ya! Glad to see you've pulled through. Trust me, I know how a full-time job is a blessing disguised as despair. Best of luck to you!

Bit late but nice to see it continue. Finally got caught up.
