Well, I'm back. · 3:40pm Aug 19th, 2012
Back to soggy, old England, but by Celestia do I love it. I think I've have enough sultrily-dressed waiters and snitzel burgers to last a lifetime. Been pretty busy over the last two weeks, and looking forward to some relaxation. As you may have probably guessed, I haven't done any writing over the holiday. Had I actually packed the notebook beside my desk beforehand, I possibly could have. No matter - got plenty of time to write over the next three weeks or so.
What did I get up to? For starters, I went up to Hitler's 50th birthday present, Eagle's Nest. Basically a house on top of a mountain 2000 feet high. Had his buddy actually known about his claustrophobia and fear of heights, he probably wouldn't have wasted 150 million euros on it. Found that rather hilarious, as he only visited the place 11 times. Of course, you can't go to Austria without going to a Tirolean night. With beer, lederhosen and thigh-slapping aplenty, the atmosphere was amazing. Seeing my brother get dragged up to dance was also hilarious.
Aside from these main things, I really haven't done that much in terms of new. Been on plenty of mountain walks, gondallas and ski lifts, but that was the extent of it. Well, I had plenty of fun doing it, so what the heck. Anyways, will be getting back to writing soon. Ponies Go Paintballing will be finished, as well as the request and other stories in the upcoming weeks.
And of course I bought an Austrian hat, silly.
