Zero Blogs: Rank Up · 11:09pm Jan 2nd, 2016
Things seems to be picking up for old Zero.
My four stories are apparently averaging 64 views per DAY. I don't know how good that is without comparison but it's a step up from when I first started.
I also have gained my 50th follower. Yeah, I know it's actually 53 but that doesn't sound as cool. You know, like how the hundred years war was really 116 years.
i don't really know what's changed. Suddenly people are asking me for advice with their stories. I got my first commission this year from someone who described my work as "artistic genius." Shine now has over 200 likes and Spark's about to reach 50.
Rose: What about To Save a Life?
That's probably just carryover from the Undertale fanbase. With only two chapters done, I doubt its popularity has anything to do with me. But I could be wrong.
I just wish people would share some of that love with Deafened by Silence. It's just sitting there all alone and unnoticed by most.
I said in an earlier blog that I wanted more exposure, and now it seems like I'm getting it. My three goals however remain the same:
An entry for one of my stories on EQD or TV Tropes.
The completion of my first commission and perhaps the starting of more.
And one of my stories (Preferably Shine) getting a professional review by an actual professional.
I'm a little whelmed. Not overwhelmed or underwhelmed. Just whelmed. Let's see where this goes.
I'd say it's a little of column A and a little of column B with To Save A life.
Just because someone is a fan of Undertale doesn't mean they're going to automatically like something that involves it.
I would say that you shouldn't wait for somebody else to make you a TV Tropes page. They can be amazing vectors for exposure for your stories.

Is that even allowed?

I did it, and I even used the same username. Nobody yelled at me for it.
I suppose you might consider it as counter to whatever code of honour you subscribe to, but views are views as far as I'm concerned.
