So I was planing on asking you guys this at the end of the next chapter, but after thinking about the story I really want to get out of the infant age and get him to at least 3 next chapter and I don't think that they would wait to give him a name after 2 years of living with him.
So then rules of the name-
One- Applejack will be naming him (not really a rule just keep that in mind)
Two- Can't be a human name, so no Jacks, or Toms, or even Bob.
Three- That was it really... just wanted to have a number three...
So basically think of a good human-pony name that Applejack would think of... can't be that hard (sarcasm).
I will pick whatever one I like best and will do a shout out at the end of the chapter.
Also will be looking for a editor, so if anyone is interested PM me. I'm mainly looking for is someone to help out with the Apple family accent, since I have no idea how to write it.

A name isnt something you can just think of for an actual child so in my opinion us picking a name now would be a very bad idea applejack knows nothing about this child so how could she just name it my sister and her husband still needed another week after my nieces birth to decide what her name would be and pony names are usually centered around a ponies profession/personality so a pony name for an unknown human child will be kinda hard to do

They both fit so well! I think I'll call him Johnny Appleseed while hes a kid and then start calling him Johnathon Apple when he gets older since Johnathon sounds more professional. Actually I think I'll leave that for you guys to decide later if you want him to care about being professional or not.

You do know that Johnny Appleseed is the main character of a piece of American Folklore right? It would be considered copyright infringement to a degree if you use that name.

Edit: Johnny appleseed was his nickname his real name is Jonathan Chapman and if johnny appleseed is used it should be the same a nickname jonathon apple seems like a better actual name.

Yeah, Johnny Appleseed works well. Maybe when he gets older Pinkie still calls him Johnny like she calls Rainbow 'Dashie', much to his annoyance.
And because I happen to be knowledgeable about the subject: Johnny Appleseed was an American frontiersman and folk hero best know for planting and selling apple trees. He'd set up ahead of the settlers for a few years, grow apple saplings and wait for them to move in, sell them to the settlers as they moved into the area, then leave and head further west starting the process over again. Most settlers wanted apple orchards not for food but rather to make hard apple cider, also commonly known as applejack
(the whole 'apples are a healthy treat' thing came about in the 1920s to save the apple industry from Prohibition).

297492 I'm not sure how to explain it. Maybe Rarity liked the idea, since clothes are fashionable? Maybe he feels cold most of the time? And besides, unless you decide otherwise, his genitalia aren't hidden (so sorry for saying that), and I imagine nopony wants to look at that. Then again, it could just be a playful nickname based on the "Kid Genius" attribute. You know, when he's being a smartass.
