We've come a long way...Haven't we.

(Hey guys before you read the official blog just wanted to let you know that this is a part of the story, The Mare and The Colt, i'm not sure if I ever talked about it but seeing that it'll never be on this channel I'd figure I would type up this part that's been on my mind for as long as I thought up of this story. Let me know what you think of it)

"The decision is yours," said the mystic voice, "either you reset everything and come back to this very moment again or you chose to let life move on and let the actions take place. Everyone will die but there will be on survivor. What that survivor will do is up to them but if you do not choose all life will taken and nothing will save them."

The choices were hard, either they go back in time, let everyone die and one live, or just turn our backs and let the world end. The room shook and the ceiling and floor began to crack around them, Fluttershy and Cerulean stood there, lost in their thought as they tried rationalizing things. As pointless as that was it kept them from panicking under the pressure.

"Fucking hell..." Cerulean muttered shakily as I tried to keep calm, "Isn't there a way to stop all this and save everyone!?"

"I'm afraid not," said the mystic voice, "you must the choice now or watch the world as you know it crumble away."

"If only we knew!" growled Fluttershy angrily, "If only Twilight had done some research on the after effect!"

"Twilight did all she could," said the mystic voice, "even with all she knew science cannot prepare us or show us everything."

"Bullshit!" Cerulean lashed out as he couldn't keep his anger in anymore, "There's another way, you're just not telling us!" The voice was silent as Cerulean waited for a response but no such thing he stomped his hooves on the floor while letting out his rage through a shout.

Fluttershy reach out to Cerulean and comforted him, despite it only making him more angry she knew it would stop him as it was pointless. Nothing he could would change the situation, despite all he done, despite what everyone has done, they needed to make a choice. Whether they like it or not. It wasn't easy, but it had to be done and they were the only ones up for such a task. Perhaps there could've been someone else who could be doing this, someone wiser and more rational but that wasn't the time for that. They needed to make a choice and they needed to make it now.

The room shook once more, causing the ceiling to give way on top of Cerulean and Fluttershy. They barely had time to react, catching whatever fell on them they tossed the debris aside and looked up at the ripple of light that was began to flicker. Time was running out, the choice had to made to be made now.

"Cerulean..." said Fluttershy quietly as she set her eyes on the light.

"Yeah?" said Cerulean in a stern voice as he to was now looking at the light.

They began making their way to the light, "If we do this," said Fluttershy as they came closer, "just know that whatever choice you make-" Something exploded all of the sudden, sending Fluttershy and Cerulean back to the other side of the room. Thanks to Cerulean's reflexes he managed to stop himself before smacking head first into the wall with his wings. Fluttershy on the hoof, didn't fair so well as a sickening crunch was heard when she smacked into the wall. Once Ceurlean's vision cleared, thanks to the sudden trauma, he scanned the room before noticing blood on the wall. It wasn't there before but he knew what it meant yet he couldn't accept it, he hurried over and found Fluttershy laying on the floor against her side. Blood was gushing was her head but she seemed to be awake somehow.

"Shit!" said Cerulean quietly as he helped Fluttershy and examined, "Hey you alright...Fluttershy!" it was obvious she was delirious but she managed to respond after a few seconds.

"G-go..." she muttered weakly, "Make the choice..."

"I'm not leaving you here," said Cerulean as he placed Fluttershy over his back, "not when we're so close." he began making his way to the light but he took it slow since he didn't want to hurt Fluttershy in any way.

As they made their way once more to the light, Fluttershy looked and could the light in the distance. She smiled a little before closing her eyes and letting her head drop, "We've come a long way haven't we?" she wondered, "To think...You were just some colt who stalked me."

"I didn't stalk you," Cerulean argued, letting out a smile as he couldn't keep a straight from the memory, "I was watching over you...You were always so alone. Even with Rainbow Dash by your side you kept to yourself and let everyone walk all over you. I couldn't just stand by and not let it happen any longer."

"Well look at me now," said Fluttershy quietly, "here, with you, making a choice for the future of Equestria...Did you ever think we'd come here?"

Cerulean shrugged his shoulders, "With all we been through, your father, the Apple Forest, our friends, the war, the infection, the factory, the dark realm, and now this. I'm pretty sure somewhere along the line I thought we were meant for something great but something like this..." he chuckled a little, "Not in a million years."

"I wish our daughter was here..." Fluttershy muttered, "I know she would want to be with us at this final moment."

"We'll see her in the afterlife..." argued Cerulean, "Once we make this choice, all of our problems will disappear."

"What if we go back?" Fluttershy wondered.

"Then..." Cerulean stopped for a moment as he thought of all things that had happened to them, all the pain and hard work they would have to endure once more just to be brought back to this moment. He lowered his head and started walking again, "I wouldn't put my friends through the same shit just so we can be brought back here." he explained as he was just a few meters from the light now, "Whatever happens...Happens." he said lastly.

Fluttershy laughed a little, "Just know...Whatever you choose. Know that," Cerulean reached into the light as she spoke her final words. The light began flashing widely, just as the room was began to collapse on itself everything went, "I'll always love you."

(So that was a part in my story for this, just know that this wasn't the last part but it's close. Anyway I know that this is going to look sloppy with all the grammer and such but I don't much care since I just wanted to type up a part. Anway hope you enjoyed it and let me know what you think, if you wanna know what happened and such and how it led up to this point just ask. I guess I don't mind telling you but i'm not sure.
