It's been a long time since I posted anything here, huh?
I haven't written a complete pony story in a while. I've been focusing on the "Thousand Tales" setting instead. I recently released a novella called "2040: Reconnection", which is a more character-oriented story with a single POV from someone who's not terribly important. I got a commission to write a story in that same world: "2039: Trickster" (Part 1 and Part 2). The same person then asked for another story with that character... and quite possibly a third. I have no problem with being paid to write more in a fun setting. Currently struggling with the second story.
But it's not pony stuff. I got a short distance into a short idea about old Fugue from "I Can't Decide"; don't know if that'll work. Then, chapter 6 of "Reconnection" happened because the character wanted to go poke around in "the Hooflands", ie. Talespace!Equestria. Which apparently leads to another secret over the next hill, so chapter 7 has started, also focused on that place. It looks like "Out and About in the Equestrian Kingdom" in terms of being about a digital Equestria but not CelestAI's version. This stuff happened because the hero of "Trickster" makes two trips to the Hooflands and messes around there.
