Alright as some may have noticed I retracted "Protean: Masks and Memories" which if you didn't notice is part of my upcoming trilogy obviously named "Protean". If it's going ot be just a trilogy I don't know since I love the characters waaaay too much to write just that.
So if you're interested about my future fic plans which will include more than just the Protean trilogy do click that page break button. It'd mean SOOO much for me to get your feedback about this.
Anyway here's my plans for this trilogy.
"Protean: Masks and Memories"
Pegasus Tidal Rider and unicorn Fire Heart are two brothers living peacefully with their foster parents in Los Pegasus. Not all is what it seems though... will the brothers uncover the truth behind the shadows? Or will they fall in the wrong embrace?

Let's just say that prepare for the epicest of epics.
Now how has my writing been going? Well I'm happy to say that I've made it to the finals of GOB's OCHG contest number 2 (OC Hunger Games). It's not... exactly "Hunger Games" but it's a contest that's filled with various types of challenges. Those include...
1)Write about your character facing the incarnation of their fears
In this one I wrote about Selune facing an incarnation of darkness. This one is about facing fear and what makes one fearless
2)Write about your character cooperating with another authro's character to escape a maze. ((http://www.fimfiction.net/user/grey+mane Many thanks brah for winning that with me!))
This one I wrote TOGETHER with Grey Mane ((as per rules of the challenge)) about Selune and Sabien facing a maze with traps, riddles, and a door. This one was about knowing your partner and being able to be humble and accept each other's faults.
3)Write about your character boxing with another character (ANTHRO) ((http://www.fimfiction.net/user/Gumball2 has an awesome teacher OC Lucky Stars. She's actually really cute!))
This one was about the price of winning and possibly knowing that one's victory might mean another's defeat or even death... And that despite the prospect of facing dark events one should always not forget to smile.
4)Write about your character falling in love with another challenger. ((Many thanks to http://www.fimfiction.net/user/The+Loyal+Patriot for his awesome OC Mercennarius Veterani - Merc for short))
This one miiiight have stolen a bit the main plot of "Origins - Selune Darkeye" but I think I did it shorter and in a better way. Anyway that thing notwithstanding I generally went with The Loyal Patriot for the "Love in War" thing. How one's win may cost the other their love. Of course that and the same thing with the boxing are... not to worry about as you will see soon enough. Anyway our characters told their life stories and all, bonded in a broken elevator and generally felt like there was a connection and stuff.
I'll have to take a break and say that the support "The Loyal Patriot" has given me and my fics throughout the challenges has been amazing and I've never felt better. In fact I feel like the cooperation between us has offered me much.
So here we had the intermission in which the mastermind named GOB behind the challenges we were shoved into revealed himself. Aaand dispelled some fears/paranoia there was around. Nobody dies in these things apparently...
5)Write about your character having secondhand embarrassment and Modelling. This time I chose to go balls to the walls since I had one of the greatest ideas about the bonus challenge which was a subsection of "artistic nude". So what did I do?
I made my character have a nude photoshoot for "Playgirl" which was the female equivalent of "Playboy". You can imagine a shit-eating grin on my face when I realised the potential of this idea... So what did I do? ((yes I asked the same question again I know))
I touched on the topic of my OC's self confidence, her self respect, how she feels about her body. I touched the subject of promoting other's confidence and getting confidence back. It's sorta complicated you'll have to read it. GodOfBBQ was impressed.
Then we had the intermission, the final meeting with GOB the mastermind. Once again we tackled the issue of our wish, what we would do, and discussed the final job.

6)A heist ((Mine was artifact heist as I chose)) Alright this one is ongoing and as I am about to submit it. I'm kinda nervous about it all... For once in the contest I'm in I'd like to... WIN something. "The Loyal Patriot" has been very cooperative with me and has provided tons of support both moral, editorial, e.t.c So has http://www.fimfiction.net/user/NorrisThePony http://www.fimfiction.net/user/kildeez and all my other friends who I have been thankful to have during this contest. Patriot's confidence in me and himself sometimes astound me. I honestly can say that these three people have been a treasure to have in my writing experience.
It's been... a blast. I don't regret it in the least. I don't regret the sleepless nights, I don't regret the thinking, the editing, or the people I've met and learned to love in this. In these dark times I'd also like to thank my followers for being here for me. Thank you... you are all heroes.
Now as for the plot of this? Well let's just say that I'd like to leave this one a bit of a secret. It might not be as controversial or crazy in writing as the others buuuuut it's something good nonetheless. For me the best was ofc the Semi-Finals where I think I shone the most. What I can say is that there will be... more than just fighting. I'm not THAT good with fight scenes as it turns out but I do want to get better so I'll practice it in the future.
So look forward to a new fic that will include all these challenges together. I might have to get some chapters to link them but generally speaking I'll have it ready after new years. This is going to me my New Years + Christmas ((or holidays whatever you call them I don't know)). I hope you enjoy this.

First and foremost, congratulations on making it to the finals. When you and I where working there was no doubt in my mind that you would make it further than I, so again congratulations on making it to the end.
Second, it was great working along side you going back and forth pitching ideas and hammering out the details. And I will admit I was a tad hard to understand at some point,s I sometimes don't have a clue what I'm doing and tend to run with it just to see where it goes. But I don't do that too often when writing unless its a character that acts like that anyway, any who if you would like to work on something later on shoot me a message.

I'm glad you enjoy the contest so much! I really wasn't expecting the turnout and success of this contest. When I first began, I thought it would be a small thing that would only happen every so often. Perhaps not at all. But it's the folks like you who kept it going!
