A New Wheel! The future of the story and what has been happening. · 8:02pm Dec 20th, 2015
Hello Everyone!
Northern Desert33 here just wanting to apologize to all of you who have liked, faved, and tracked "A New Wheel". I want to apologize for the lack of updates (The last one being in October 
) and the lack of information about what has been happening and why there have been no new chapters.
The truth is...I planned for chapter 8 to be the final chapter of the story. The intention was never for it to be long and to at least make ten chapters at most. The idea was to leave the story off on a high note: With the island at peace after so many years under a dictator, a Displaced character who finds himself among the kindness of ponies, a Displaced character that wont be a minion of Celestia and yet also be an ally of her's, and for the displaced character to not cause a major upheaval...
But, I couldn't just end it. I didn't want to end it because I felt like it need something more, not just for the characters to walk off into the sunset, with an mysterious future ahead of them. And yet, I couldn't think of anything...
Heh, I never really experienced writers block before. I kept trying to think of something, anything, for chapter 9 and the others to follow it! And I just sat there, looking at an empty google doc. So, I considered making one chapter that would end it all.
However, I felt like you guys deserved more then this. So, I am happy to inform you that I have some more chapters planned. After these chapters, I will end the story hopefully on a high note. After I finish "Playing The Villain" I will make a sequel!
Until then, thank you for your patience and I hope that the next chapters will not disappoint you!
i dont mind i can wait but i have writers block why dont you just ask authors who also write/wrote fics where the displaced rules over somethig for help?
