Warmth in the Snow, a Finding Home prequel · 3:40am Dec 17th, 2015
Who's ready for entirely too much of me?
So a few weeks back, between acts 1 & 2 of Finding Home, I took a couple weeks to work on another story. Well, that's going up on Sunday It follows Sunset during the week leading up to Christmas and takes place three months before the first chapter of Finding Home. It's also not a drama Well, mostly. I don't know if I'm really known for anything in particular, but if I am I'm pretty sure it's drama. I set out to write the fluffiest story I possibly could, then realized I suck at that. So there's some drama in it, but it's minimal. And it's certainly not required reading for Finding Home, but aside from just taking place in the same universe (like all my stories) it's kind intended as a companion piece.
All four chapters will be posted in the upcoming week, and each chapter will be posted on the same day it takes place (so since chapter one takes place on December 20th it will be posted on the 20th). I also planned out which Finding Home chapters it'll be updated in between, and it's placed so perfectly I love it. So my crazy packed update schedule over Christmas week:
Saturday the 19th - Finding Home chapter 9
Sunday the 20th - Warmth in the Snow chapter 1
Monday the 21st - Warmth in the Snow chapter 2
Thursday the 24th - Warmth in the Snow chapter 3
Friday the 25th - Warmth in the Snow chapter 4
Saturday the 26th - Finding Home chapter 10
Finally, I wanted to share the cover art with y'all, 'cause I love it so much. Problem is it's pretty spoilery for the next chapter of Finding Home. Explaining how is pretty much impossible without giving it away, but it's a fairly big spoiler. Anyway, I figured I'll let everyone decide for themselves if they want to check it out, and just link it instead.
Yay, a week filled with updates.
Don't like that cover. Sunset looks like a dude with long hair and a perverted face. Fluttershy doesn't look cute.
But don't take it personal, I just don't like this style of drawing.
Huge spoiler is huge.

Good to know you're looking forward to it. I've been wondering if it's too much, actually.
Of course everyone is entitled to like what they like, no worries. I didn't think it was too big of a spoiler though. Whoops, my bad Guess I'll go give a better warning for anyone who hasn't seen the blog yet.
