Noble Thought

I sometimes pretend I have a posting schedule other than "sometime soon."

    Personal life disruption

Hey, everyone. I felt I owed you all an explanation for why it's now two weeks past the last scheduled update for Primrose War.

So, I've had a bit of a personal upheaval. I'm moving forward with building a house, not immediately, but there's been a lot of talking with friends and family about what it'll mean going forward. So that's one thing.

    Unexpected Hiatus

Hello everyone. I wanted to apologize for the lengthy, unexpected hiatus of The Primrose War. It was definitely unplanned, and this time I haven't been writing. Work, leading up to the holidays, has been more stressful than usual with the rush to get things done before I take my two week end-of-year vacation.

    Next chapter delayed

Hello everyone! I apologize, but the next chapter of Primrose War will be delayed by a bit. Between work and a few novel releases that I've been looking forward to, I haven't made as much progress as I wanted to on the next chapter. I do have a solid outline, though, for the rest of the book as well as part of the next, so I haven't been idle.

Because I have a dirty mind... · 2:02am Dec 17th, 2015

Totally safe for work text only images... but just playing it safe. The context is kinda dirty. Which is why this blog is tagged with an M rated story. Oh, and yeah. Screenshots from Game Dev Tycoon. *cough*Edit*cough*

Insert all the innuendo.

It's totally bugging me that the image on top has a grammatical error...

Both games in the Pantymare series are Mature, Adventure, Fantasy games. The second game in the series, Winking at You, is an Adventure-RPG.

I am amused. They both have sold more than a million copies early in my company's career, and the series is my bestseller and highest rater, with 9.5 scores for both. The second was a large game, and has already netted me more than 30 million.

Next up! AAA Game, and a Pantymare MMO.

Let's see how far this goes. I would be laughing my butt off if I didn't cough up a lung whenever I did.

Apparently everyone wants sexy pony games. Game Devs of America, get on that.

I can only imagine how characters would buff up in the MMO...

When you say yours, are the games your creation?

Oh goddess, it took me a while to understand they both are project in the Game Dev Tycoon.

It's Game Dev Tycoon. The games exist about as much as a teapot at L5 does.

3623219
In the buff, of course.

Whups. Tagged that, but... hmm. Not actually mentioned in blog.

The best lesson to take from this seems to be 'Adult-rated fantasies get you all the money and acclaim'. Imagine the day Princess Celestia gets that in letter form.

I wish I'd built up a $120 million pocket industry based around friendship with benefits fantasy adventure games. Starring ponies.

Maybe I should visit Ponyville more often and see what she's up to...

would pay money for

Wow, just Imagine how much more money Marty could have made if her were innovative enough to put that Macintosh into the DeLorean and develop a 'tubular' heads up display for the flux capacitor. . . instead of a video game that's clearly ahead of its time.

that's what you think

It took me a little Google searching before I had context. :facehoof:

3623443
Maybe that's not the best example... I mean given the context of GDTycoon that would be closer to PS4 graphics... actually, I was thinking more along the lines of a lower res version of furcadia...

I'll have you know that I used the very latest in imaginary 3D technology to create the Pantymare. Hypothetically, it's the best looking, most realistic game in the imaginarium.

so something like this...

Combined with the odd 'Renamon gives herself a paper-cut' photo I saw 15 years ago... and the obvious "Eye of Judgement"

Consider me amused.

Sugarcube, y'all need Luna, I tell you what.
