My thoughts on Season 5 · 5:43pm Dec 14th, 2015
As I said last week I would post this this week. I was going to post this on Thursday, but I decided to do it today because of what tomorrow is.
So my thoughts on Season 5.
Considering that this was the first season I got to see from the day it was released after I got into My Little Pony over a year ago,I really liked it. I have seen the other seasons and the Equestria Girls movies (they will get their own blog at a later date), it was a pretty good season. I really have no complaints. I didn't know what to expect when it started, and I was glad I got into the series. (click here for that blog)
Don't get me wrong. I didn't think it was perfect. My least favorite episode was "What about Discord" and not from what he was doing, but because of the ignorance of everyone else. They couldn't figure out that they were hurting Twilight by making jokes that she had no idea what they meant. Discord was just playing a game of chess and they were the pawns. They didn't know that he was doing that even after they know he is a master manipulator. That is the only thing that pissed me off about the season.
Big Mac cross dressing was funny as hell.
The CMC getting their cutie marks was a relief.
Getting to know Pinkie's family was awkward, but sweet.
Seeing all the new characters was a nice time.
The Mane 5 getting manipulated by Discord, and they couldn't even figure it out, pissed me off. To further drive my point, I will list five examples.
Everyone but Rainbow goes to a Wonderbolt show.
Everyone but Rarity goes to a Fashion Show/Showcase.
Everyone but Fluttershy helps helpless critters.
Everyone but Pinkie goes to a party.
Everyone but Applejack try a new type of apple.
They would be INSULTED, but when it is Twilight they figure that all will be alright. Life has no double Standard.
I'm sorry for beating the dead horse, but that is the one thing that gets on my nerve.
Other then that this season was really enjoyable and I look forward to next season.

yeah season 5 was pretty chaotic with so many things happening.
