Chapter 12 Status · 6:00pm Dec 9th, 2015
So... Chapter 12. TL;DR is that Chapter 12 draft is nearly finished, and I'm hoping to get it out before Christmas. Because I'm me, I feel the need to explain myself, especially since this has taken longer than my usual schedule of a chapter about every other month.
I had always kinda planned on taking a bit of a break here, but the news that Fallout 4 was coming made me change my plans. I wanted to dive in and have the draft finished before November 10th. Needless to say, this didn't happen. I hit a few different walls, but each of them were mostly just a new form of writers' block for me. Also the usual paralyzing fear of "what happens if people don't care about what happens now?"
So there was a period there of Fallout, a period of Final Fantasy 14 stuff, Thanksgiving and Halloween, and a lot of PromptAnon being on my ass almost daily about trying to get something done (which I can never thank him enough for). But at last I got a breakthrough, and I finally got myself excited. That was a week and a half ago, and since then the chapter has gone from almost nothing to about 2/3 of the way drafted. I expect there'll be some overhauls needed, but things are finally back on track, and I hope to release Chapter 12 before Christmas.
Once again, sorry for the delays in this (and in the replies to comments, which are coming soon after I post this update), and I hope y'all enjoy Chapter 12.
