A thestral, a siren, a zebra, a dragon, a changeling, a kirin, three unicorns, three pegasi, three earth ponies, and three alicorns all walk into a bar.
They then get kicked out because that's way too many characters with "primary/secondary protagonist" billing for one story.
I'm not going to worry about all my stories at once, that way leads disaster as has been proven time and again already. Still want to try to do something with Of Responsibility, The Atlantis Scenario, Contrast, etc; but not yet.
Sunset Shimmer set about unpacking her things. Though still reluctant toward the idea of staying in Ponyville long-term, she was at least going to make sure she was comfortable here during her visit. After a solid couple hours of work, the previously-bland master bedroom had been transformed into something far more cozy. The bed was made, her spellbooks and theory texts placed snugly on a
Given what we've seen, yes. We don't know how the world is being sustained, what the greater geopolitical situation is, how ponies other than the royal staff live...
3589445 Also, NMM's timeine is the only one that makes sense to me. If the Mane six never got together in the Sombra and Chrysalis ones, how and when was she defeated? The elements were never passed on, so Discord shouldn't have gotten free, and without the events of It's About Time, Tirek... Okay, Tirek would have gotten out, but that just begs the question of how he's not the one in charge in every timeline. Don't get me started on Flim and Flam.
3589465 Presumably some other bunch of unlikely heroes stepped up in other timelines. They just fell victim to the Batman Scenario: The hero needs to win every time, while the villains need to win only once.
Yeah, it's frustrating that they don't go into great depth, but at least we can.

Huh, good point.

Yeah, I'd say there's insufficient data here.

True. XD
Even so, I'd argue the mere fact of Nightmare Moon makes the Nightmare Moon timeline the best, because Nightmare Moon.

True.
3715982 Indeed. Still seems like a step up from the Sombra and Chrysalis timelines
3723046 Same, honestly
I mean it's not ideal
But it's still the most comparatively stable one.
