Bad news: My earlier projection for #8 late November turned out wrong.
Sorry that this keeps happening, but I'm just really bad at estimates like that. 
The good news is that the new rough outline is done! 
Its an inflated, bloated thing at a whooping 743 pages slash 184 838 words (!), but its finally done!
Again, this is a rough so raw and half-baked I don't think anybody else can even read it right now. It does not reflect the actual final counts on pages or word-length in any way. The finished story will be far smoother for its existence, however.
Oh, and me hammering out what's about to happen in more detail have lead to some tag changes. Hopefully the final ones.
It was close, really close, and if I had even only one more tag to work with she'd gotten to stay, but [
] is now gone. Replaced with [
] returning, and 'newcommer' [
].
Don't get me wrong, she's still an important character for this story, but at the end of it all those two are simply going to have more of an impact on the coming events and thus deserve those limited main character slots more.
Whoa, Sweetie and Celestia have a bigger role than Twilight? Very, very interesting...
Suspicious by its absence, the progress on chapter 8, shall we assume it hasn't come much further along than it was?

Glad you think so.
But yeah. I intended for her to be a bigger presense through-out innitally, but with how things actually unfolded when I actually wrote things out she simply got (pardon the pun) eclipsed by the others.
Yeah. Bingo. Didn't want to get to ahead of myself when the whole point of the new outline was to make the rest of the story smoother, and allow for some more detailed foreshadowing.
I mean, I'm a fifth of a million pony words for a rough crazy, but I'd like to think there's a method to that madness that doesn't involve shooting myself in the foot.

So what happens next are you going to work on filing down the new outline, is it finally time to work on chapter 8, or are we working backward now messing with already posted chapters or something.
I really hope you're planning on turning this into some kind of 50k word monstrosity of a chapter, otherwise this is kind of ludicrously excessive.

Probably not going to touch the rough any further. Writing it is/was mainly an aid for me to get the rest of the story out in more detail then a mental outline, and solidifying the characters a bit more, so its main job is already done.
Right now, i plan on continuing on with #8.
