Nobody likes finale

Soooo, I haven't really done much research into it, but according to my feed, not a lot of people liked how the season five finale turned out. I don't blame them. I thought it was weak, and I only saw the last fifteen minutes of it, while others have made it clear that there is so much more to hate about it. Me, I'm adaptable, so I can handle it, more or less (unless they make Starlight a regularly recurring character. That would be just awful.). I'll probably write a fic addressing Starlight's apparent mental instability and her attemps to deal with it. Maybe. Don't hold your breath.

Seriously, I pray to Heaven that she doen't become a regular.

I thought the final was pretty good. Coming from a guy who hates Starlight for what she did, I'm willing to give her a chance at redemption. I'm on the fence of her being a main character, it sounds interesting on paper and would equal the group of seven the human counterparts now have in equestria girls. I just know Starlight has a lot of work to do to fully gain my respect.

For that to actually work the way you are implying would require the human world's Sunset Shimmer moving to Equestria and joining the group. No, better to have Starlight function as a recurring character like Trixie, albiet with a theme of trying to make ammends for her mistakes. I just can't see how a recurring Starlight would bring anything good to the show.

By the way, you should know that there are several people who hated the finaly far more than I did. Just read the blogs of some of the people I'm following.
