The Future...

I have no plans in the near or even distant future to end my work. I plan to write for a long time, even if (Faust forbid) the show should end, but given the Brony fanbase I think it's safe to say there's no danger of that.

When I first began writing my fic over a year ago, it started off as another "human in Equestria" story since I'd read several that I liked and piqued my interest. I enjoyed doing it (and still do), I learned a hard lesson in criticism, and am actually grateful to those who knocked me off my high-horse (no offense, to the ponies of Equestria) and helped me realize the direction I was going and what laid ahead of it.

I issued a public apology for my behavior, promising to take the good and the bad, and found the resolve to keep writing, and am thankful to all my readers and supporters, as well as those who opened my eyes.

When 'My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" first came to be, I was among those who was 'it's a girly fad, it'll blow over'. But I couldn't stop seeing or hearing something about the show that it began to drive me crazy!

So - Just for the hay of it - I gave the show a chance. Then I gave it another. And another, and another. It wasn't long before I too became a brony at heart, and was so glad I finally gave the show a chance.

In the show, I did see some of that girly horseapples I'd been expecting, but I looked past that and saw so much more.

I saw a story, I saw characters with actual character and traits that made them special, and I saw real lessons to be learned. Now I can't imagine giving up being a brony and just walking away form it all. Especially after how far I've come with my fic.

I have plans for my story's universe, and I plan to be writing for a good long time. I am also grateful, not only to my readers and supporters, but to all who have helped me, such as Pontiac56, my partner in this story's development, for without whom so very much of this story would never have been possible.

And for the hay of it, I'm gonna share a few tidbits on what's to come:
*An arc inspired by the Power Ponies will be the next arc, where it stars the Stallions
*More Arcs starring the Stallions (the Mares will be involved, their own stories mentioned here and there)
*The last two new Elements discovered
*The return and revenge of Sunset Shimmer (note: This story has nothing to do with Equestria Girls)
*A new invasion of Changelings, Secrets about Midnight revealed that threaten his relationships with his friends and family, and a loss of Faith
*A real look into the Equestria Games (since the episode was wasted on Spike)
*A new villain revealed, along with a twist regarding another
*Something lost becomes found again in the form of a tiny seed

I still haven't worked out how my plans will work with Season 5 or even Season 6. It's likely I'll work through Season 5 and then do a time-skip, that will completely deviate from the show (while integrating stuff from it to, on some level, keep true to the show's universe while making it my story's universe)

At various point, some characters are going to die (I am NOT saying who, but none will die anytime soon) but I eventually want to take this story in a direction to make it a little more intense and deeper.

One thing I've been considering doing - I realize this story started off as another 'HiE' fic but since virtually ZILCH has shown anything more about the human my OC originally, I'm considering removing the 'Human' tag on the story.

Anyway, I should have the first part of my 'power ponies'-inspired arc posted before the end of the week. I am a Brony at heart, I love reading and writing, and am proud to be a part of all this. Thank you all for reading my work and supporting me, as well as keeping me grounded and from getting a swelled head.

Best wishes to all my fellow bronies out there and their own stories. I enjoy reading others' work and seeing their points of view, how their own imagination reshapes this universe we all know and love into their own vision, and I encourage you all to keep moving forward with whatever drives you, so that we all may achieve our goals and make our own dreams come true (sorry if that last bit was a little cheesy)

Wow that is some humble beginning you started off with watching MLP and then you took inspiration/ideas from other ‘human in Equestria’ fanfic and create your own ‘original’ MLP universe.

I hope that completing your current MLP chapter season 4 is still making good progress.
