4:23 - Ponyville Marketplace Road
Spike couldn't be anymore content then how much he was right now. He souped up all the courage he could, asked Rarity to go out with him, and most importantly: she said yes!
As he sauntered down the road towards the first shop: the flower store, he could merrily planned his lunch date with Rarity. What should he make for the lovely angel of a pony this time? A Daisy Salad Ala Wheat? Maybe some Fruits to go along with it. He was going to put everything he had into this. That was for certain!
"Ah, Spike!" A young western voice called out to him from up ahead inside the groups of mares and Stallions out on there's special evenings. "Stop righ' thar, for a sec!"
Spike blinked, stepping to the side of the walking crowd to find who had called him out. A yellow filly galloped from out of the much crowd of couples to meet with the baby dragon.
She was clearly in a rush, with a small bead of sweat visibly going down her face over her coat, panting slightly. She had rope and saddlebags on her too. "Y'all got perfect timin' to show up!"
"Uh, thanks?" Spike scratched the back of his head, wondering just why the small farmpony was in such a rush. "Say Applebloom, what's the-"
"No time ta explain." She hastily dismissed the subject, digging into her saddlebags.
She quickly pulled out a textbook, passing it to Spike. Spike instantly recognized it as the book on Heart and Hooves Day he was reading this morning. Why did Applebloom of all ponies have it?
"Wha-"
"Sorreh, Spike." Applebloom wasn't going to let Spike finish anything he was saying, lightly bouncing to make the flap on her saddlebag close, quickly turning around and trotting back into the walking crowd. "Tell Twilight that we're sorry for using it wrong~!"
Spike stood there, slightly confused at what exactly happened, looking back down at the book Applebloom pushed into his claws. He looked behind him at the flowershop.
Well, I can worry about it when I get back home.He smiled once more, slipping the book into his back as he strolled into the shop, his jolly mood quickly returning.
Oh..... oh no.
