I have a confession to make.
I thought I could write two chapters at once, and drive for many hours to my folks in Pennsylvania (from Vermont), and spend a few days at the behest of Jinxiemom, and drive back and still have a terrific chapter as if I'd never gone anywhere. And so, I've been trying to goad my Trixiemuse to cough up more writing. Lots more! 20,000 words a week, just to make it easier!

Instead, all I got was one rather intense chapter, with a great deal of careful worldbuilding, setting-up, and Trixieversian madness. I did get some good outlining for future chapters that aren't next week. But I'm doing much closer to 10K words a week than usual, and it's now Monday and I've just finished planning my departure, haven't even packed and it's dark already…
…and I've been pushing so hard that I'm starting to get sick and sniffly and haven't even LEFT yet.
So, just like I had to do around 2012 or so, I have to delay a chapter. Everything's pushed back a week. Maybe the finale will inspire some kind of amazing notion relating to flower ponies? In any event, next Monday will be tragically bereft of a Precious chapter, but the Monday after THAT is good to go, and go we shall. Hina's looking to be of more use to Ponyville, and the flower ponies have a problem. Not so much a friendship problem. More a 'having sex whilst basically fainting goats who panic at everything' problem. And I think you'll enjoy getting to know and love them a little better. They're brave little ponies in their way, and deserve their happy ending. Not that they'll get it immediately, or that Hina will solve all their problems. But she'll try!
Enjoy your "vacation", and try not to stress too much!

Enjoy your time out, have your notebook at your side for when you get a new idea and wanna write and not forget it, but otherwise, forget us! All great things take time to be made, your stories are one of these (i am a fan of Blizzard Games, i know how to wait
